Script to use with leads
There are teams having tremendous success "Interviewing" prospects.
This process actually weeds out the tire kickers so you stop wasting your time and gets those that are interested to PROVE to you that they are worthy of joining your team! It puts you in control and draws out the best in your new sign ups.
Setting the Appointment
1. I call the lead.
2. Get them on the phone.
3. Tell them my name and that I received their name as someone looking to work from home.
3. Ask them “Is this correct?”
4 If so, I verify that I have their correct information...email...alternate number or email...etc...
5. I tell them that my partner in business Penny Trites from Chilliwack, BC is booking appointments and doing 25 phone interviews.
6. I give them the day Penny is available and ask them if morning or evening works for them.
7 Once I have a time I repeat the time and date to them again and ask them if they have a pen.
8. I give them Penny’s office number and ask them to call her and let her know if they cannot make the appointment and she will do the same for them.
9. Again I repeat “OK, we have you booked for Wednesday @ 2pm...sounds good. Have a great day!”
Example:
ME: Hi...is Mike in?
MIKE: Yes...who’s this?
ME: Hi Mike...my name is Wanda. I am calling from Saskatchewan...and I received an email saying you are looking to work from home...is that correct?
MIKE: Yeah...
ME: Great...Mike do you have 2 mins to talk right now?
MIKE: Sure
ME: Okay.. I just want to verify that I have your correct contact information. (I verify everything here)
ME: Okay Mike...my partner in the business Penny Trites is from Chilliwack BC and I will be booking appointments for her. She has about 25 interviews to go through. It takes 10-15 mins...it’s on the phone...and I am booking now into Wednesday. Would a morning appointment or afternoon appointment work for you?
MIKE: Evening would work better for me as I am working in the day.
ME: Okay...I have an opening for 7 and 7:30pm.
MIKE: 7:00 works for me.
ME: Okay then...do you have a pen handy Mike?
Mike: Sure go ahead.
ME. Alright...we have you down for a 7pm appt on Wednesday...I want to give you her direct line and if for any reason you can’t make the appt then please call her and she will do the same for you alright. Her number is 604-858-5565...could you repeat it back to me.
Mike: 604-858-5565.
ME: Okay that is with Penny Trites and it will only take 10-15 mins...basically she’ll ask questions like past work history?...special skills?...those kinds of things. Jot down some questions and she be sure to answer them.
Mike: Okay.
ME alright Mike... it was nice talking to you and I’ll let you get back to your day.
FINISHED.....Took about 3 mins.

Part 2 - The Interview Process
15 minute interview questions:
Call the lead or trial sign up at the predetermined appointment time.
Build rapport and thank the person for spending 15 minutes to proceed ahead with the interview. I tell people that I go through this process to make sure that the people I interview fit into the team, and have the qualities we are looking for, but also that what we have to offer is a fit for them.
- Are you presently working? If they are working I ask “what do you most like about your job?”
- What are some of your past jobs that you’ve done? (this tells a lot about a person…)
- What qualities do you feel you have to bring forth to the business?
- How do you feel other people would best describe you?
- Are you interested in becoming an independent business owner, or are you looking for more of a job? (I let them know there are many ways to make money online, but we are looking for someone who is going to treat this seriously like they invested hundreds of thousands into a franchise. I ask “are you this person?”)
- On a scale of 1-10, how serious are you with 1 being not at all and 10 being very interested in owning and operating your own business?
I let them know I will send them an email with a link to a tour page. I verify their email address and ask them if they are at their computer. I send them the link to the berry tree tour page and let them know my email address that it will be coming from.
I then say your first step is to tour the website I just sent you and sign up as a full member. I read on your sheet you have $_____ to invest into owning your own business. This will be the first $54.95 of that money.
If they ask me to go over it with them on the phone, I let them know I absolutely could, but I won’t because the beauty of this business is that you simply refer people to your site and let the tools do the talking. (people love this when I say that…)
I then set an official time with them in my daytimer to schedule the next call which goes through the 3 getting started steps. If they are below a 5 in their scale of 1-10 I send them the link and let them know that I will help them get healthy with the products but they would not qualify for one of the 5 positions unless they can show me more of an interest.
You’ll feel right away who is serious and who is not. It sure saves time and adds people who are all like minded, focussed on moving ahead in life with an effective plan of action
