If ever an airplane could be said to have a “can do” attitude and an “eager to please” work ethic, this is the one. Our flagship Beechcraft King Air model, the next-generation King Air 350, offers the utmost in versatility and capability—making it the definitive “go anywhere, do anything” aircraft.

The King Air 350 is a "load and go" aircraft. Fill all eight seats in the luxurious double-club cabin. Fill the class leading heated, pressurized, and in-flight-accessible baggage area – the largest in its class. Then, fill the tanks with fuel (enough to fly nearly 1,500-statue miles) and you are ready to take on anything, for business or pleasure. Plus, the King Air 350 can operate on runways as short as 3,300 feet with exceptional short-field performance due to its highly reliable Pratt & Whitney Canada engines, fowler flaps, and rugged dual-wheel main landing gear. But, that is not all. By combining high performance, luxury and advanced engineering with unparalleled distinction, the Beechcraft King Air 350 represents the perfect way to get from here to there … while thoroughly enjoying the ride.

The Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ)

Unlike their smaller competitors, Airbus Corporate Jetliners can efficiently fly short-range, medium-haul and intercontinental routes with unbeatable comfort and excellent reliability. Their ability to make Category 3B automatic landings in the poorest visibility helps passengers to arrive at their destination, even in bad weather.

Airbus' ACJ Family was launched in 1997 with the ACJ, which typically accommodates 19 to 50 passengers. This version is in extensive use worldwide today, operating in VIP, corporate shuttle and government service roles.

Airbus’ longer-fuselage A320 Prestige has 100 square metres of cabin floor area, allowing for an infinite number of interior
configurations – including the Airbus-designed Prestige cabin that provides a defined and certificated layout that accommodates 30 passengers in unparalleled comfort. With its excellent operating range, the A320 Prestige crosses continents and oceans with ease, flying above weather at the 41,000 ft. cruise ceiling altitude that is approved for all Airbus Corporate Jetliners.

The newest ACJ Family member is the A318 Elite, which offers greater levels of cabin comfort than currently available with competing business jets. As the smallest ACJ version, the A318 Elite is affordable alternative for customers whose needs can be fulfilled with a shorter cabin and less range, as well as an excellent entry-level corporate aircraft for new operators. Airbus has defined two cabin layouts for the A318 Elite that seat up to 14 and 18 passengers, with seats and settees clustered in several separate zones throughout the cabin.

With up to 6,000 cubic feet of living space and true stand-up comfort, the Airbus Corporate Jetliner has the flexibility to build personalised cabin configurations for 19 to 50 passengers. Business and conference centres, lounge areas and private suites and full-height showers are all possible at a level of quality, functionality and luxury that meet the most demanding requirements. The Airbus Corporate Jetliner’s spacious cabin is wide enough to allow for corridors around separated rooms – ensuring that private work and rest areas are indeed private.

The modular cabin can be styled to suit the needs of any customer. Configurations include a luxurious head-of-state layout, VIP arrangements with lounges and accompanying areas for support staff, and corporate shuttles with premium seating. Dedicated crew rest areas can also be created for pilots and cabin attendants.

Airbus-approved cabin outfitters offer a choice of ACJ interior layouts that can be created from a selection of modules and equipment while custom-designed interior arrangements also are possible.
The Airbus Corporate Jetliner comes supremely well equipped for globetrotting. Its Category 3B all-weather landing system helps ensure the trip will be completed even when other business aircraft are turned away because of low visibility. Optimum routing is available from the Airbus Corporate Jetliner’s on-board satellite navigation equipment, and flights over water or across remote regions are possible with the ACJ’s approval for 180 minute ETOPS (extended-range twin-engine operations).

On the ground, the ACJ is handled just like any airliner: for airport personnel, there is no difference from the aircraft they deal with every day. Efficient turnaround times during stopovers are standard.

For movements from airfields with less developed infrastructure, the Airbus Corporate Jet is fully autonomous. Integral airstairs at the forward passenger door eliminate the need for jetways or mobile stairs, while the airliner-sized auxiliary power unit makes the aircraft independent of ground-based systems for engine starting and onboard electricity.

Not only does the ACJ’s fuselage cross-section provides the largest cabin for passengers, its underfloor cargo holds accommodate up to four times the volume of typical business jets.

The underfloor holds are accessed by large doors that open outward to avoid reducing available volume inside the hold. These doors also protect baggage during loading/unloading in bad weather, while ground crews appreciate the greater working height and a wider area of the cargo holds’ flat floor.

For long-range missions, the cargo holds can be fitted with up to six removable additional centre tanks for increased range.
It is highly efficient in a full range of applications, from the transport of VIPs and heads-of-state to corporate shuttle service – while retaining all of the economic advantages of Airbus’ best-selling A320 Family of airliners.

With advanced aerodynamics and the latest in system design, the Airbus Corporate Jetliner has lower fuel consumption and maintenance costs than competing aircraft that were originally designed years before. The ACJ’s modular interiors, galleys and toilets allow the cabin to be reconfigured as operator requirements change.

All of the Airbus ACJ Family have international airworthiness approval for public transport of fare-paying passengers. This allows them to be used for highly-efficient commercial and corporate operations – transporting employees between company sites, flying sports teams to their games, and carrying passengers on scheduled long-range all-business-class flights.

The aircraft’s centralised maintenance system allows simple and efficient troubleshooting, saving time and reducing costs.

For owners, the ACJ is an excellent investment for the long-term – with the highest residual value of any aircraft in its class. Unlike other business jets, the ACJ can be resold for both corporate and airline use, ensuring the widest possible secondary market potential.
The Airbus Corporate Jetliner family’s spacious, modern flight deck has been designed by pilots for pilots.

Its fly-by-wire controls, which are operated via ergonomic side-stick controllers, allow unrestricted input throughout the flight envelope – protecting against overspeeding, stalling and windshear, while keeping the ACJ well within its structural limits. And with twice as much flight deck volume as typically-sized business jets, the ACJ is designed for maximum pilot productivity.

Six identical and interchangeable electronic flight instruments display all of the desired flight, navigation, systems and engine information, operating in concert with the aircraft’s fully integrated, third-generation avionics. Like all Airbus aircraft, the ACJ has the ability to make Category 3B automatic landings in the poorest visibility (75 metre runway visual range, with no decision height), helping to ensure that its passengers arrive at their destination – even in bad weather.

Airbus utilises the same cockpit on all of its A320 Family aircraft – the A318, A319, A320 and A321 – which shares a high degree of commonality with the fleet of A330 and A340 widebodies in service today (and soon, the A380). Only one pilot type rating is required to fly the ACJ and any other member of the A320 family, while transitioning to the A330 and A340 requires only minimal additional training through Airbus’ cross-crew qualification concept. This provides a pool of thousands of pilots who are qualified on Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft around the world and are ready to command the ACJ.

The ACJ Family’s flight deck continues to evolve with advances in technology, including the introduction of liquid crystal displays for its primary flight instruments, the availability of an electronic flight bag to facilitate crew efficiency, and the option to install a digital head-up display certificated for Category 3B landings.
