HUSKY CONFINED TO CAGE 23 HOURS A DAY !!
Peppy is confined to her cage in this weather
Sadly, Pepie died last Tuesday, January 6, 2009. She was euthanized at the vet's office due to renal failure. I have great regret that although she is now out of her prison, she was never free, never loved. I'm sorry I couldn't do enough. I will never forget her and the life she didn't have.
Goodbye precious girl, you will be missed.

Peppy is a 15 year old husky with arthritis who lives in a 3' X 10' "Scotts Kennel" in Dunkirk, NY.
The authorities all say this is legal.

They refuse to help her and instead, protect the owner and his rights to keep his dog this way.
The local paper did a press release from the county executive which condemned the people trying to help her and praised the owner as a nice man, considerate of others. They refused statements from the public, citing the situation as a private matter, thus sealing her fate.
