The Free-Wales website is currently undergoing a revamp and will soon be back with news of a major new project that will be taking place throughout Wales. Everybody will be able to get involved with this and help to create a lating memorial of our history.

Remembering The Abergele Martyrs

July 1st 1969 will go down in the history of Wales as the day that George Taylor and Alwyn Jones died in defence of their country. Both men died whilst attempting to place an incendiary device on a railway line that was due to be used to transport Charlie Windsor to his "investiture" at Caernarfon.

It is about time that both men were again remembered annually with the Abergele Martyrs Parade.
