Good day! Well, somehow it seems you've stumbled across our little site in cyberspace. That really sucks for you, but hey! We're more than glad to have you here!
Welcome to Free Second, a comic focusing on school life, both in high school and college. The first season follows the story of two girls, Chrissy and KAt as then finish high school(And is drawn fairly poorly), and season two tells about their experiences in an all woman's college. Chaos, Swords, New friends, Love, Hate, and conspiracy abound! A warning to all who wish to view these comics:
This comicwas originally made by teenagers for teenagers. There may be mild nudity, sexual refferences, and there will definately be profanity and violence(YAY violence!) Thusly, no one under the age of 14 should view this site! We arent trying to offend everyone. We are trying to offend the few people who cant take a joke, that's all. So, please, dont take everything you read here to heart.

12/9/07:
Chrissy speaks: so, you may have noticed that there have been no updates writitngwise for at least a month. However, the truth is that I HAVE been putting new comics up! Take a look, at least two or three new ones should be there. A new one is in the works, and my to do list is geting going. This month I will also unvail a contest to get my readership up. So, enjoy the new stuff and expect another comic up in the next two days.10/6/07:
Chrissy speaks: ,I admit it. I did not update the last comic on time...but to make up for it, you get TWO comics today! There will be one more comic before I startOk a little trilogy to introduce our new character. One is a definite comic, and the other is really more art, lamenting the loss of my favorite hockey team's old jersey. I miss the silver in the jersey, so excuse the lymeric rant ont hat comic...or enjoy it too, ya know...I will have a contest, I have decided. Prizes still need to be worked out though, stay tuned for new on this. Also, check the to-do list to see what else is up next.
I am curently looking for other comics/sites to trade links or Affie with. Please contact me if you'd like to take a part of that. Also, tell friends...just to get a head start on the comic.

Chrissy speaks: Well, that updating thing didn't last long. However, I hope to have that comic online today at some point.I've updated the links section, so at least I got that done, and I'm considering how to revamp Interact, to make it more fun.
I may also be doing a contest, to get some more people interested. If you read this comic, please tell people about it? I think I'm going to be going on an advertizing spree very soon. Awesome, right?
We have a comic trilogy coming up in two weeks. I may update that little more quickly than other comics, so it's readable early. I think you're going to enjoy it, and out new friend!

Chrissy speaks: HOORAY! UBER UPDATE!What is an uber update, you may ask? Well, it means the times, they are, a-changing. The site has been changed a little, and is shiny and new. You may notice that the nav bar is at the top, and that we have a lovely new title pic! Every page is a little different too...and...

The comics are pretty simple. Two are normal comics, about college life, and introducing you to the gang once again, and there is one fanstrip for Jack. We LOVE Jack.
Now that that is done, here is what is going to be done:
-2 new comics, 1 series of three
-A NEW CHARACTER!(Look for a hint in the character bios)
-New art
-More link updates
All these should be done within the week. I'm going to start trying to update comics at least ONCE weekly, by saturday. I hope you all like that one!

After another period of rest, I'm back to making comics. I'm waiting for my scanner to arrive, but I have five or six already done that just need coloring! YAY!
So, since we're in college, I figure it's time to make a few changes to the comic. We'll be adding a new character *GASP!* and you will get a preview of her pretty soon. I will also be changing Chrissy's hair style, and that's where YOU come in! See, I want you to tell me what her new hair should be! I already have one I like, but I want your opinion before I change it...so tell me what you think in the poll below! Vote on the following hair styles:

Chrissy speaks: TWO, not one, BUT TWO comics are now up! The first is a welcome in of a slightly new, more cartooney style that the comics will be done in from now on. The second will be listed in the regular and crossover comic sections, because it includes a little salute to our Brit Buddies from "The wild side." I hope ya like is J and Wild!
As for other upcoming updates, I've been having even more trouble with lovely freewebs. That's the price of having a free space I guess. Anyway, the movie review of Paprika will not be up for a little while, but I can tell you here and now that you must go see it. It's brilliant. Other updates on the image of the front page, the info on the characters, and some stuff on the interact section will be up as soon as possible. till then, keep your eyes open for new comics very very soon. Maybe a music update too? Feel free to drop me a line. ;)

Chrissy speaks: Yes, we live, it's true! Freewebs is being a bit of a dick at the moment. :( but I WILL have a comic up, AT LEAST ONE, today, probably in binder papery goodness. I have about five more waiting in the wings for your viewing pleasure. Then, once freewebs is done doing what ever it does on its day off, I'll give the site a serious renovation. Till then, look up "The wild side" webcomic. Those guys are pretty chill. Aslo, be ready for some art from cat and some movie reviews. (SEE PAPRIKA!!! more on that later.) Hang in there, lotsa stuff coming.

Kat speaks: Well I guess I am still alive. Sorry that I have not said much in a long time. I just have had a very buisy scedual ever since I got to college. I know that is no excuse for not keeping up with free-second, but what can you do. Well I am hoping to put up some pictures for Kat and Chrissy up soon. So hope that I still have the time and can get it all done soon. Well hears for hoping.

Chrissy speaks: No way! We're alive? Yes way. In fact, a new comic is up, and a few more are well on the way! *squeal!* We'll also be updating the sight over the next month. Not to mention that we'll be getting some new fans in, and a few new links. The laptop is in the shop for a week or so, but till then, check out the new binderpaperiffic comic to tide you over. Chrissy speaks: W00t! New strip is out, and what's this? A boy? A new character perhaps? YES! Exactly that. You havnt truly met him yet, but there's a sneak preview in the new comic.
Ok, in other BIGBIG news. I FINALLY recieved volumes 1 and two of Jack and it FUCKING OWNS!!! Anyone who likes jack, spend the stupid 5 bucks and get the volumes. seriously!
And lastly, the site will be expanded after next comic. How you ask? you'll see. I hope to have the belated suprise up by then as well. My image hoster is having troubles with it. *grumble*Well, enjoy the new comic! Tootles!
Chrissy speaks: As promised, a tribute to my award winning marching band is now up for viewing. A contest may be held for band members...it may in fact, involve money! Look out for that. Till then, ENJOY THE DAMN STRIP!!! I spent hree weeks just drawing this.

Chrissy speaks: ITS OFFICIAL! We can now be found on GOOGLE! Look under free second chrissy, "free second" webcomic, or Free second Ownage(dont ask, i dont know why that one works so well.) keep checking around for other ways to find us, I havnt found out all the word combo's yet.
Anyway, keep that chin up! the final part of the bionic arm saga is soon to come, as well as INTERACT! what is that you ask? you sill see...yes, you will see. *evil laughter*
EDIT: IT"S DONE!!! BWAHAHA!!! I finished the damn saga...so go enjoy the beautiful wonderful ending. Now I have to begin work on about 5 others,a nd after that, KAT COMES HOME! Then she can giv eme mroe storyboards! If she doesnt...I'm gonna die.

Kat speaks: Well hey everyone, I am sorry that I have not been on. I have just been so buisy with college and I have not been able to do to much lately. I am going to try and put some new pictures that I have done on and I am trying to get a hold of chressy but every time I try and call her she is never home. So we will see what I can do. Well until later I will do my best to put some things on. I will definetly put something on for halloween though. Till then BYE!!!!

Yes way. I actually did it. and IT can be found in the art section, in all its wonderful bigheaded anime goodness. I have to thank Xi_Hou_Jun for the transparent background(THANK YOU!) Chrissy speaks: well everyone...good news! I've just put up a NEW CHARACTER BIO! As you have probably seen in the new free second strip, Chrissy and Kat have a little buddy named Sunny. Sunny is VERY loosely based on a real person, and we salute his sense of humor and laid-backness in allowing us to destroy and/or maim with forks and/or distort his image. Thanks man. You RAWK.
Chrissy speaks: YAY!!! Kat posted. Yeah, I'm caught up in college work as well, except MY junk is application.
On a much happier note. PART TWO IS UP!!! What happens next in our saga? This eppisode will leave you wanting more.
