In this deleted scene as jason comes busting
through the door like in the original, Laurie and Will are are on the
ground as Jason and Freddy are beginning to fight in a cabin at Camp Crystal
Lake. As they begin to fight Laurie says "Freddy vs. Jason, make your bets!".
This deleted scene is short but one of the best of all deleted scenes on the
DVD.
In this alternate beginning instead of the
shot just appearing at the dock where the girl is like in the final, it shows her
leaving the cabin while the kids are asleep to meet her boyfriend. As she begins to
leave a little boy wakes up and tells her he cannot sleep, she comes running back
because jason is chasing her but the boy will not let her in.
