Links Page - New links are being added all the time and it is well worth the visit to check out details of bands, venues and schools etc. to get a preview before deciding on which and where to go to. As an example why not try the 'Easy Does It' site which is brand new. There you can watch videos of performances and get sample sound tracks of the band recorded live at various gigs.
Events Pages - In addition to dance dates we have added some short dance break holidays featuring the George Thorby Big Band. It should be noted that places such as Pontins in Pakefield offer several Big Band breaks and it is well worth a visit to their sites to see who is playing and where. Some of the leading bands in the country have dates at venues like these throughout the year.
The Regency Ballroom dance venue has been added to the contacts/links page along with a picture and dates are shown in the listings. It has a very large dance floor measuring 115 feet by 54ft. Numbers are being restricted to 180 to give more space to dance.
Members Page - Anyone visiting the 'members' page will see that a new profile has been added. Pauline Taylor who is the editor of the Dance Times magazine has enrolled and completed her profile and added her own personal appeal for a dance partner. Paulines profile is a good example of how to use this page and communicate with other site members. I hope this example will encourage the numerous others, still to complete theirs, to follow in her footsteps. There is the added facility of sending private messages to each other by adding to your freinds listing. You can only do this after completing your profile. Send and receive messages simply by registering each time you log in. Tell your freinds which dances you will be attending etc. Dance Times magazine details can be found on the contacts page.
Dance Classes - New dance dates are being added all the time so all members should be aware of continuous changes. You will also note that a new page has been added giving dance class details. So far only Paul & Jo Sharman's classes have been listed but it is hoped to add more as time goes by. Regular ballroom & latin, and sequence dances, held by Paul & Jo are included in the listings.
