Frankfort High School Falcon Band

Joe Everett called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Minutes from the January 28^th meeting were read and approved.

Treasurer Report was discussed and approved.  Balance at this time is 49,417.88.

Concession Report was read and approved.  Balance at this time is $15,094.63.

Concession Notes:  Concession for track meets got cancelled because we had no water at the concession stands.  Plumbing had been removed and band personnel had not been informed.

Items Discussed:

• May 5^th Spring Concert we will serve sheet cakes and punch.

• A camper is being stored at the football field.  If we do not want to convert this into a portable concession stand, it will be taken to the dump.  Joe Everett will get with Tim Zimmerman and Jamie Davis to make this decision.  We do not want this item left there all summer.

• Mr. Walker stated that all summer schedules have been sent out and that full band camp begins August 4^th.

• Upcoming raffles for the fall will be:  Basket Raffle, Rada Knives, Discount Cards, Candles and Candy Bars.  This is a trip year, so we may have another one.  If anyone has suggestions, please email Mr. Walker.

• New committee members are needed for the Band Board for the school year 2008-2009 names will be taken at the May 19^th parent meeting.  Positions to think about are: Secretary, Concession Director, Vice-President, President and Treasury.
