Weclome to the official site for futsal in Scotland in conjunction with the Scottish FA and Scottish Amatuer FA. Futsal has a long history, having been invented in South America as long ago as the 1930s. Now, at last the game is set to develop in Scotland and the SFA was the first of the four British associations to give official recognition to this exciting five-a-side version of football.

Thousands of players already play five-a-side football in Scotland. But the game has never been put on a formal footing, and rules vary from place to place. Futsal is an internationally recognised sport, governed by FIFA and UEFA, and has only been played in some areas of the country to date. However the opportunity is now there for talented Scottish footballers to take their skills into the Futsal international arena, with the full backing of the SFA.

In this website you will find information on the skills needed to play the game, where to play it and how to get involved as well as some background information on the history of Futsal.

Perth currently has the only Futsal League in Scotland and it all started in 1997.
