1st annual Flaherty Productions Film Festival Rules

Thank you for taking interest in the 1st annual Flaherty Productions Film Festival.
The following rules and regulations are to be in effect for this year’s (2004)-film festival.

1.Under no circumstances should you enter a film you yourself didn’t create.

2.You may enter as many films as you wish.

3.Your film must be no longer than 8 minutes and as short as you want.

4.No Cast or crew member over the age of 18 may over excessively aid in the creation of you film (please be honest because if you win unfairly than you haven’t won at all)

5.If we are disgusted by your film, we defiantly wont show it, and sexual content shouldn’t be used (we put the YOUTH in youth film festival)

6.Don’t steal material from other movies or shows (be creative people)

7. If chosen as finalists please have someone there to pick up the award and say something on behalf of your cast, crew, etc.

8.If during the award ceremony no one is there to accept the award we will give it to the runner up (This will result if no crew or cast shows from your film, or if no one has been told to pick it up for your film)

9.A brief introduction must be submitted with your film containing a summary, how you perceive your film, and how it will benefit the viewer.

10.Our final decisions will not be changed (so put the money bribes back in your pocket)

11. It is apparent that some of the people organizing the film festival might be taking place in it. If this should happen than they shall not partake in any judging aspect of the festival.

12.If your film is in the festival please make a picture poster for your film. By all means propaganda is allowed. The poster can be simply printed from a computer.

13. HAVE FUN and make some art
