Four Seasons Miniatures was established in 1993 in Ramarama, south of Drury.   After spending 9 seasons on a 35ha property in the village of Kaiaua right on the Firth of Thames we are now in Bombay, well positioned for easy access to shows throughout the North Island. 

From the outset our primary goal was to produce quality horses that are a pleasure to own.  Our very early decision to name our foal crops alphabetically is an indication that we are here for the long haul.  To this end we continue to pursue excellence in conformation and temperament, using quality mares to the most compatible mates and not confining ourselves to our own stallions.  We also allow limited use of our stallions to approved outside mares.

In 1995 we coined a motto which encompasses everything we endeavour to produce in our horses, a complete package of eye catching colour, top class pedigree, trainability, and prize winning conformation, a New Zealand 'horse in miniature' with

Each year our motto continues to provide inspiration in our pursuit of this, our ultimate aim, and we continue to prove that the 'horse for all seasons' is possible to produce, that our motto is more than just a few cute words strung together.  We have been fortunate to have bred, produced, and exhibited some wonderful horses over the past few years, from Supreme and High Point winners and National Grand Champions to awesome home-bred and home-trained performance horses and family companions.  We look forward to the challenges in the immediate future and beyond.
