Thank you for stopping by and reading the latest on-line monthly newsletter from the Foundation of Literary Science and Publishing!

Here you will find information, news, updates, etc...for you as the writer or poet. And maybe some inspiration to go along with it.

Schuyler Thorpe, Founder and Editor, and a 2004 Lacche-Media Writer of the Year! (Also a 2005 Nanowrimo winner as well!  Nevermind the 2006 Nanowrimo--we got hammered this past November in terms of high winds, flooding rains, and significant damage across 18 Washington state counties.)

Message Box for July 10th, 2007

530 days until The Starchild is here!

Some recent issues with global warming and the all too real possibility that the price of paper may impact the cost of print publishing within the next ten years; had me rethinking my approach to e-publishing the book.

So as this is a permament message, The Starchild will be offered in full as a complete e-book between $7.50 to $15 (1,273 pages-estimate)--depending on level of income. The limited print edition will be announced at a future date. But the company is considering toying with the idea of making the novel into a serial.

However, more research is still ongoing, so no final decision has been made as of yet.

Calender launch date is still: January 16th, 2009 (and if there is a change in this, I will let everyone know).

Note: July 2007 issue is running a tad late. My wife and I are in the process of packing--but the next issue should be up within a day or two.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: THE NATION IS UNDERGOING A **MAJOR** HEAT WAVE! SO DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO KEEP COOL! DON'T OVERDO IT!
