CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE WINNERS!
I am sorry not everyone could be included in this first anthology, but if it goes over well, we will do others, so keep checking this site. You never know when the editors will get another wild hair!
A special thank you to the judges for taking time out of their busy schedule to undertake the hard job of choosing from among a lot of great stories.
We wish to thank everyone for entering. We had a lot more than we expected, which is wonderful. We are extremely excited about this anthology and will have books available later in the year for purchase.
You can check with storyteller1@hightowercom.com for more details.
Artists: www.frolix8.deviantart.com Dan Byrd began drawing when just a boy, images straight from his imaginations. Over the years he has worked with different mediums, but has found computer art to be quite satisfying. He works for a telephone company by day and at night he's either working on his art or performing with his band, Ion Quest and has designed record labels for his band as well as others. He also cooks a mean grilled cheese sandwich. He has sold several of his prints and is drawing a larger audience every day. Be sure to check out his website.
251ranch@myway.com Nancy Riney, The Pasture's Edge Fine Art Studio, has been dabbling in art since she was a child as well. Her work has appeared on several books covers for Grizzly Bookz, The Storyteller Magazine, and the cover of Reflections. She works in several mediums including pen and ink, watercolors, or a combination of the two, as well as photography. Her work was awarded Honorable Mention in a Time Life Magazine art competition. Nancy loves to capture the animals on her farm on canvas as well as the rolling storm clouds that pass through Arkansas on a hot summer day.
