FORMBY CHESS CLUB LADDER 2009-10 |

Rules: Challenge person closest available on the night to you on the ladder. Loser will go down 1 step, winner will go up one step, if draw no change All games must be scored as per league matches, and sheets placed in box for Mike Haslinger to pick up at intervals. Please mark the sheet clearly whether Merseyside or Warrington League time controls used. Colours alternate in "series" of games, otherwise lower player has black. Ladder positions will only be changed by Mike Haslinger, BASED ON REPORTED RESULTS. Any player with no games in two months will go down 1 step. If few games played, spirit of rule implemented by adjusting to promote actual players 1 step, instead of relegating all non players 1 step. Mike Haslinger plans to email the ladder to the web master as the main source. For those without web access, Mike Haslinger or the web master will display a dated copy on the club notice board from time to time. The ladder will run to April 30th 2009. If you wish to join or leave the ladder, please inform Mike Haslinger. It is the club’s intention to ensure that ladder games are graded, it is therefore important to ensure that Merseyside or Warrington league time controls are adhered to. |
