I have met some wonderful people on "My Space". I am inspired by their friendship, the glitter graphics, music, videos, photos & encouragement. A Creed To Live By
Don't undermine your worth by comparing
yourself with others.
It is because we are different that each of us is special.
Don't set your goals by what other people
deem important.
Only you know what is best for you.
Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart.
Cling to them as you would your life, for without them
life is meaningless.
Don't let your life slip through your fingers
by living in the past or for the future.
By living your life one day at a time,
you live all the days of your life.

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you're tired and weary,
because it means you've made a difference.
It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who
are also thankful for the setbacks.
Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,

I Resign
I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult.
I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities
of an 8-year-old again.
I want to go to McDonald's and think that it's a four star restaurant.
I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and
make ripples with rocks.
I want to think M&Ms are better than money because
you can eat them.
I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade
stand with my friends on a hot summer day.
I want to return to a time when life was simple.
When all you knew were colors, multiplication tables,
and nursery rhymes,
but that didn't bother you, because you didn't know what
you didn't know and you didn't care.
All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or upset.
I want to think the world is fair.
That everyone is honest and good.
I want to believe that anything is possible.
I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and
be overly excited by the little things again.
I want to live simple again.
I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news,
how to survive more days in the month than there is
money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip,illness, and loss of loved ones.
I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind
word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow.
So...here's my checkbook and my car keys, my credit
cards and all my responsibility.
I am officially resigning from adulthood.
And if you want to discuss this further, you'll have to
catch me first, 'cause,
"Tag! You're it."
Live Life to the Fullest
I can still hear her voice as she says;
"live life well and love to the fullest"
Dreams aren't worth having,
if your afraid to live them.
Not those elusive ones.......
that fade with the break of day.
I speak of the ones that catch us up
and, steal our breath away!
When we're younger........
Its always, "when I get older"
When we're "in the middle" its always,
When I can find the time.
And when we are "older",
To often we say its too late
When I am "OLD"
and my hair is gray;
I want to be able to honestly say
Oh Man, do I remember the day!
Its is never too late!
Dare to dream.
Dare to take a good look around.
Dare to challenge yourself daily!
Dare to walk upon moon beams!
Life shouldn't be a balancing act!
I choose to live it,
with a catchers mitt.
I choose to catch all that
comes my way,
saving some for a rainy day.
The rest?
Well I can toss it away
or choose to play
But at least
In the end I can say
I've lived life to the fullest
I've done it my way!

I Love The Word Impossible
It's like joy after sorrow.
People being friends after being enemies
Rainbows after drenching rain.
A wound healed
Sunsets on quiet evenings after
Hot noisy days.
Paralyzed, injured limbs learning to grow
Strong and useful again.
Forgiveness after wrong
Truth after fog.
New love-made babies.
Birds learning to fly and own the sky
Bitterness turned to mellowness
Fresh, genuine hope .. once abandoned
People finding each other at right moments
In unexpected, obscure places ..
For God-ordained reasons.
I love the word impossible because my God believes
In adventure
And extraordinary mountains
And he dares to be alive in a world
Crawling with terrible situations
He promises to be bigger than any impossibility
Because He is love ..
And love always finds a way through, in time.

|
I'm giving you this butterfly
Because of what it means;
The amazing thing
About butterflies
is the way
They get their wings;
See, butterflies start out
as very different things;
Each one enduring hardships,
But to this hope
it clings;
One day it will become,
despite setbacks
from the start;
No longer a nothing creature~
but the love of someone's heart;
If, by chance, you see one~
For that one brief moment pause,
And watch it floating by,
remembering this, because;
You too are like the butterfly
Having endured so many things,
Making beauty out of heartache
Turning obstacles into wings;
 
You truly are a miracle
and I think that you should know~
It's not the things that happen,
but, how we learn to grow; because
 
In the end what makes us
beautiful and why~
Is not the way we started,
but in how we learned to fly.

And starlit nights
Picnics in the park
Cloth lined baskets full of goodies
Lazy hot days by the pool
Grilling hamburgers & hotdogs
Passing the ketchup & pickles, please
Drinking cool lemonade
Or a root beer floats
Fresh slices of sweet watermelon
Slumber sounds of a water fountain
Beds of bright colored flowers
A songbird’s melody
Pillow clouds painting a blue sky
Clean, cool breeze from the lake or the sea
Rolling waves of water rushing to shore
Sailboat rides, or a fisherman’s delight
Having fun in a water-gun stream
Or drenching wet in a water balloon fight
Are all rolled up in a summertime dream!
During this time of year, and in all that you do, I hope that you are having a wonderful summer! Thinking of you with warm thoughts & star kissed wishes.

Take These Thoughts With You On Your Journey To Your Dreams
Don't ever forget that you are unique. Be your best self and not an imitation of someone else.
Find your strength and use them in a positive way.
Don't listen to those who ridicule the choices you make.
Travel the road that you have chosen and don't look back with regret.
You have to take chances to make your dreams happen.
Remember that there is plenty of time to travel another road - and still another - in your journey through life. Take the time to find the route that is right for you. You will learn something valuable from every trip you take, so don't be afraid to make mistakes.
Tell yourself that you're okay just the way you are.
Make friends who respect your true self.
Take the time to be alone, too, so you can know just how terrific your own company can be.
Remember that being alone doesn't always mean being lonely; it can be a beautiful experience

Your Higher Divine Self has the power to break through the limitations of your
personality/ego and beliefs/concepts you hold and open you to new/improved ways of living and being...
Your Divine Self is always trying to reach you, to send you
illumination, love, and wisdom to break free from all imprisoning
thought forms, feelings, and situations, and to draw higher forms,
thoughts, feelings, and situations into your life...
Focus on all that you love and all that supports you today... Take your focus away from what appears to be not right in your world and put it back onto the light, there is always support there for you! Seek out someone that believes in you, and make it a daily choice to recieve healthy input...
Rest well and direct your kindness to yourself as well as others! Explore those things that make you happy... Have BIG FUN along the way... it is all worth it and so are you my sweet friend...

Dear God...
I know you're watching over me
And I'm feeling truly blest
For no matter what I pray for
You always know what's best!
I have this circle of E-mail friends,
Who mean a lot to me;
Some days I "send" and "send,"
At other times, I let them be.
I am so blessed to have these friends,
With whom I've grown so close;
So this little poem I dedicate to them,
Because to me they are the "Most"!
