RAF Stenigot is one of the most awesome places I have ever been. Its amazing how the huge radar dishes have been left there all this time without hardly any graffiti or damage. We were told that they are 60 tonnes each, and they needed 6 diggers to pull them from thier original mounting to they're home today.
I found these dishes very difficult to photograph indeed, but hopefully I didnt make too much of a hash of it.
The dishes are also coupled with a live RAF rigging tower, and some dis-used bunkers also on site.
