Welcome to Forgotten UK. This website is a temporary website for me to showcase my photography the long forgotten side of the countries architecture. The galleries shown on this site have pictures taken purely by myself. The explores were undertaken with the upmost respect for the buildings. I, nor any of the people I have met whilst doing this have ever stolen, or broken thier way into a building.
For me, I look for new sites because I want to see, and witness history before its too late, to get to the highest part, to see the views that no-one else see's and the experience what no others experience. Hopefully my photographs show this. My Photographs are both of derelict/abandoned sites, and also of live sites such as construction sites and alike.
I go by the alias of "turkey" and I explore mostly with the guys from a forum of explorers called "28 Days Later"
There is also a sister site called "ForgottenUK2" Click here to look at some more site reports.

The sites that I explore are from all types of history, from vast victorian lunatic asylums to underwater ballrooms, and from huge pre-war industry to underground dis-used military complexes. All of which have held a certain interest for me. Over the pages on this site, you will see some of my favourite photography from all of these places.
Sit back and enjoy.
