 Hello fellow Grobanites!! My name is Michelle and I am 15 years old and am a freshman at my high school. I love going to school because I get to chat and laugh with all of my friends and it is another place to be besides home. I'm not really into the academic work or the tests... the teachers are pretty cool though. I discovered my favorite singer in the whole world (Josh Groban of course) when I was watching the 2004 Superbowl last year. I hate football but I am so glad I was watching the pre show, otherwise I would have never heard Josh sing. Let me tell you, after he got done singing, his voice lingered on in my memory for a long, long time. I really wanted to find out more about him when I saw him again a couple days later on Oprah's 50th Birthday Bash, I was so happy to hear " that voice" again!! Then, as a very wonderful birthday present, I got Josh's CD " Closer" and I listened to it for hours!! I fell in love with all his songs including the foriegn ones (although those did take longer to grow on me). Then, I think it was a couple of weeks later when I found out he had a concert DVD out and a debut CD, so I got those for myself and I watched his concert DVD the minute I got home and I swear I became a full fledged Grobanite that day! His voice is just simply amazing and I love him more then ever now. He is and always will be my favorite singer. Anyway, besides Josh, I listen to many other singers and bands. I love listening to Jessica Simpson, Clay Aiken, Martina McBride, John Mayer, Norah Jones, Rob Thomas, Christina Aguilera, Switchfoot, Alicia Keys, Joss Stone, Celine Dion, Whitney Houstin, Michael Buble, Lucia Micarelli, Chris Botti, Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson, LeAnn Rimes, Kenny Chesney, Trisha Yearwood, Josh Gracin [ I'm a HUGE country fan] and many many more. Besides listening to Josh, my hobbies are singing, reading, riding bikes with my dad, writing poems, playing basketball, watching my favorite movies, etc. My favorite movies are The Lord Of The Rings trilogies. I could watch those for hours. I also love The Terminator movies, Pirates Of The Carribean, pretty much any kind of comedy, romantic movies ( waiting to see Phantom Of The Opera) etc. But, of course my favorite hobby is listening to Josh, I could listen to his voice 24/7 if I could, but sadely I have to go to school. Oh well, at least I have the weekends. I really hope you all will enjoy my website, if you would like to make any suggestions, please feel free to send me an e-mail. |
