Hey everyone, I'm still here! I haven't forgotten about the site, I've just been really busy working on other things, but now that I'm out of school I'll have more time to work on the site. I've got a few new things coming up, including a new layout, new pages, and a video archive, so stay tuned for that. First of all I'd like to apologize once again for the lack of updates. In the next couple of days I'm going to be updating and adding new pictures, media, etc, and I anticipate a new layout soon. Also I'd like to thank Liisi for sending in lots of great stuff, all the pictures and videos I'll be adding today are thanks to her! So for the time being, here's a video of Dakota reading her story "Cassidy and the Stick Insect" in the Big Read.EDIT: I've added a new Five Miles Out still HERE.

I've added some new stills of Dakota in The Secret of Moonacre to the gallery, thanks to Arcel and the official movie site. The site has been updated with new content, and it says that there will be video clips coming soon, so I'll stay tuned for that. I've also added a miscellaneous picture that came with an article where Dakota talked about how she was teased when she had to dye her hair red. I hope everyone has a very happy holiday season, and I'm now back with a bunch of great updates! First of all, thanks to Liisi for pointing out an interview done with Dakota about Dustbin Baby, you can read that HERE. Also thanks to Liisi for pointing out that Dakota is in two new short films. I just added two new Dustbin Baby stills to the gallery, so make sure to check them out. The movie was on on Saturday, but unfortunetly I could not watch it, as I do not live in the UK. If anyone is able to send me clips or caps then I would appreciate it very much and you will recieve full credit. It will be on again on January 2nd, so watch it if you can!

It was designed to bring people from different backgrounds together, get them talking about themselves and identity and see how equality and human rights affects their lives. They practised leadership skills and confidence building, went kayaking, camping and orienteering, and at the end they left, hoping to take the message to their friends and communities, a small army of ambassadors to spread the message that fair and equal treatment should be expected and demanded by all.

Sorry it has taken me so long to update, I've been very busy. However I've got a couple of great updates now. First of all, Dakota will be starring in a new movie called Dustbin Baby which will air on the BBC around Christmas time. You can read more here. A lovely still has already been released and is viewable in teh gallery. According to another article here, Dakota will also be in a movie called Lovely to the Last, so I'll make sure to keep an eye out for new about that as well. I also added four new Secret of Moonacre stills, thanks to Virginie for pointing them out! I am currently working on updating some pictures from recent events, so stayed tuned for more updates!
UK Kids Choice Awards

Yesterday Dakota attended the UK Kids Choice Awards. So far I have only found two pictures but if anyone finds anymore feel free to send them to me. The actual show will be aired on September 20, so more photos may be released then.

Toronto Event Pics

A couple of days ago I uploaded some pictures from two events that Dakota attended in Toronto, but I didn't have time to make and update about them until now. The first event was the DPA Gifting Lounge, and the second was the Hollywood Life House. Dakota looked amazing at both these events and I'm still searching for more pictures. Also, if anyone could get me the pictures without tags, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry it took longer than I thought, but as promised, here are the caps from the trailer for the Secret of Moonacre. The movie looks really amazing and I can't wait to see it. It is also screening at the Toronto Film Festival and Dakota has attended some events there, so I'm working on getting the pictures up as soon as possible.

After searching around a bit, I turned up some more Secret of Moonacre press. Because the release has been delayed until 2009, there has not been much advertising, and the pictures so far have been small and not the best quality. However I now found 4 MQ stills and added a poster to the gallery. You can view the poster here and view the stills by clicking on the pictures below.

News on Dakota has been slow recently, but I found another picture from behind the scenes of The Golden Compass. It is a picture of Dakota with her body double. The picture is pretty small and not the best quality but it is definitely worth a look. You can view it in the gallery.
