While this is not a good site for allergy testing - too many other cat breeds and we have been loaned a sturdi shelter triple used by some darling Bengals (whose feld1 is then co mingled with our babies....) - it is a great opportunity to chat with us and learn more about our loving Siberian cats!

See you there!!

Wonderfully Warm Open House!

Thank you to our new Kitten Families for making this a wonderful weekend!

We were thrilled to host five families from Canada and two from the states.

It was our first time meeting multiple families on the same days and for several days in a row (we ended up beginning on Friday due to special request, and  hosted two additional families that afternoon, for a total of nine families all together).

These sweet girls have been adopted and are moving to Boston, MA on Wednesday. We do have two brown mackerel girls, one light and one dark, available and can bring them to Ontario on Saturday pr Sunday morning.

We will also be delivering previously adopted kittens to their new Ontario families. If you have been planning to adopt and would find it easier to have your kitten delivered to you in Toronto, this is your opportunity!

Again, thank you to our wonderful new Kitten Families for sharing your time with us this weekend!!

Warmly,

Kate and Carolyn

Our Day in the western NY Apple Orchards!

We love New York State Apples! Ever since the kids were babies in slings, we'd go apple picking in the fall. This year Carolyn and I drove up towards Lake Ontario to western New York apple country. After stopping at our local Tractor Supply Store for kitten food, we had a wonderful afternoon picking apples at Becker Farms. When we got home, Carolyn made an apple heart on the dining room table while we enjoyed one of our family's favorite snacks: New York State extra sharp cheddar cheese with fresh sliced apples: YUM!!

Carolyn in the Orchard - we could barely believe how large the apples were!  These are great eating apples! We used about 1/4 bushel of these to male homemade applesauce, too!

Carolyn's Home from an Amazing Year in Austria

Carolyn's home from an amazing year in Austria. We so appreciate the loving home and wonderful experiences her host families the Tirans and Winklers shared with her. We celebrated her homecoming with a belated birthday party. And, of course, after our birthday girl, the stars were the baby kittens! We share some photos of our happy day with you here. Warmly, Kate and Carolyn

A Family Visit!

In June, my father spent the night with us on his way to his 50th Reunion at John Carroll in Cleveland, Ohio. Having always had a way with babies and small animals, we were eager to introduce Papa to Thelma's baby Gorel (means "Flame" in Russian), our first red classic boy.

Siberian babies benefit from being held and gently played with. Having a variety of experiences while they are growing up helps your kitten be a secure confident adult. We welcome our approved adoptive families for visits. There is nothing like meeting a Siberian kitten to make a person fall in love!
