For Christopher

Thanks for stopping by and visiting Christopher's website. We have made this to keep friends and family updated on the latest going on with our family, CJ in particular.

Christopher is a bright, smiling young man who has been diagnosed with scoliosis, colonic neuropathy, gastroparesis, encoparesis, and severe constipation. Basically, his stomach doesn't digest food properly and the nerves in his large intestine are badly damaged. Christopher sees many doctors here in Syracuse and we have had to travel several times to see specialists. He recently had surgery to help with his constipation and it was a life-altering surgery. Christopher (CJ) also has a multitude of other medical issues including chronic fatigue syndrome and suspected fibromyalgia. He has also been tested for Cystic Fibrosis several times but needs to have genetic testing done, which insurance refuses to cover. For a full list, please see the 'facts' page. We try to keep the site as updated as possible so please check back often.

We'd like to thank everyone for their generous financial help. It was a great help for the trip to Boston for CJ to see Dr. F. We couldn't have made the trip without all the support of our family and friends. We were able to raise $950 for the trip.

All money donated goes directly towards CJ's medical expenses including doctors appointment co-pays, prescriptions, and other medical expenses.

We've been able to make a small dent in the bills from Boston. Being a single mother of 3 children isn't easy, especially with all the added medical expenses. Co-pays for appointments and prescriptions and past doctor bills are very overwhelming. CJ is on 8 medications daily (only 2 come in a generic) and several on an as needed basis. He also has an average of 5-10 doctor visits each month. Thanks to all who can help out.
