Gerrard Helps Reds To Win!

Stevie Gerrard scored twice as Liverpool won their Champions League gameagainst Marseille last night!

Lorik Cana put Marseille ahead on 23 minutes,but Stevie G curled in a wicked equaliser three minutes later!

On 32 minutes Gerrard struck again,this time from a penalty which gave the Reds the win!

Chelsea Trash Bordeaux!

CHELSEA 4-0 BORDEAUX

Chelsea cruised past Bordeaux in the Champo League last night!

Frank Lampard headed Chelsea in front on 14 minutes before Joe Cole added the second after half an hour!

The Blues were in control and goals from Florent Malouda and Nicolas Anelka in the final ten minutes wrapped up the win!

MAN UNITED 0-0 VILLAREAL

Man. United drew 0-0 with Spanish team Villarreal last night in their first Champo League game of the season!

But there was good news for United as Cristiano Ronaldo made his return from injury when he came on in the 65th minute!

United pushed for a winner but Villarreal held out for the draw.

Arsenal Grab Late Draw!

DYNAMO KIEV 1-1 ARSENAL

William Gallas scored an 88th minute equaliser to give Arsenal a draw in their opening Champo League last night!

Arsenal went behind to the team from Ukraine in the 64th minute when Ismael Bangoura slotted in a pen.

But Gallas turned in a Theo Walcott cross late on to rescue a point!

Celtic Find No Way Through!

CELTIC 0-0 AALBORG

Celtic couldn't grab a goal against champions of Denmark Aalborg in the Champo League last night.

Barry Robson missed a pen and Scott Brown had a goal disallowed as Celtic looked to win the game.

The ref showed Michael Beauchamp of Aalborg the red card on 79 minutes - when he meant to send off another player!

But Celtic couldn't make the extra man count, and were held to 0-0.
