Round 5
136.) Kansas City Chiefs-
Lavelle Hawkins- WR California- Besides Dwaye Bowe the Chiefs have no threats at wide receiver. Hawkins would add competition for the second wide receiver spot.
137.) St. Louis Rams-
Jack Williams- CB Kent State- Mid way threw the draft, the Rams can afford to add depth to their thin seconary.
138.) Atlanta Falcons-
Harry Douglas- WR Louisville- Roddy White burst out of the scene last season and had a solid year. Unfortunately, he's the only threat on Atlanta. They could use someone opposite of him.
139.) Denver Broncos-
David Roach- S TCU- John Lynch is like 100 years old. Roach would add a replacement behind him.
140.) Kansas City Chiefs-
Breno Giacomini- OT Louisville- The Chiefs continue to add to their pathetic offensive line. This would be their fourth addition threw the draft.
141.) Carolina Panthers-
Ezra Butler- OLB Nevada- A late steal which would add depth to the linebacking core.
142.) Chicago Bears-
Jamar Adams- S Michigan- Mike Brown is made of glass. With him being constantly injured, the Bears need a backup plan. Adams is a steal this late.
143.) Buffalo Bills-
Steve Slaton- RB West Virginia- This is a split running back league now. When Marshawn Lynch went down last season, the Bills really suffered in the run game. Slaton would give them a solid one two punch.
144.) Detroit Lions-
Chevis Jackson- CB L.S.U- Leigh Bodden and Brian Kelly were nice additions, but Detroit could actually make some noise in the seconardy if they continue to build threw the draft. I once has Jackson going early third in my mock draft, so he would be good value here.
145.) Cincinnati Bengals-
Marcus Monk- WR Arkansas- Chris Henry is out, with Chad Johnson about to follow. The Bengals need some besides T.J Houshmanzedeh and Doug Gabriel
146.) New Orleans Saints-
Martin Rucker- TE Missouri- The Saints are going hard for Jeremy Shockey. If they're unsuccessful they'll have to draft one.
147.) Jacksonville Jaguars-
Steve Johnson- WR Kentucky- Troy Williamson and Jerry Porter have a high chance of not panning out. The Jags should be prepared.
148.) Denver Broncos-
Bruce Davis- OLB UCLA- A late steal here for Denver. The Broncos need linebackers and he'll contribute.
149.) Arizona Cardinals-
Dwight Lowery- CB San Jose State- Lowerys stock has fallen lately, but Arizona must continue to improve their weakest unit on the field.
150.) Minnesota Vikings
Arman Shields- WR/KR Richmond- Bernard Berrian has been brought in, but it is still in question if he'll pan out as their number one. Shields has great special teams talent and would be a great addition for depth.
151.) Houston Texans-
King Dunlap- OT Auburn- Ever since entering the league the Texans have had offensive line problems. This may even be too late to start focusing on it.
152.) Philadelphia Eagles-
Doug Legurski- C Marshall- Andy Reid continuing to add offensive linemen is nothing strange.
153.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers-
Brandon Keith- OT Northern Iowa- The Buccaneers have been trying to redo their offensive line for quite some time. Adding a left tackle this late will atleast add some competition.
154.) Washington Redskins
Caleb Campbell- S Army- The Redskins need safety depth after the death of Sean Taylor. Campbell has outstanding talent and would be a perfect backup.
155.) Cleveland Browns-
D.J Hall- WR Alabama- With their second pick in the draft, the Browns add to the talent at wide receiver. Donte' Stallworth was brought in, but he couldn't even get it done in New England. They'll also have to be prepared for the departure of Joe Jurevicius.
156.) Pittsburgh Steelers-
Bryan Kehl- LB BYU- Some mocks have him going second round. The Steelers need youth at middle linebacker so this pick makes sense.
157.) Tennessee Titans-
Marcus Henry- WR Kansas- Who will be the Titans star receiver this year? Brandon Jones? Well even with the drafting of James Hardy they need more talent.
158.) Jacksonville Jaguars-
Kendall Langford- DE Hampton- More depth at the defensive line for a team in need of it.
159.) Jacksonville Jaguars-
Drew Miller- C/G- Florida- Another pick which allows the Jaguars to have a lot of insurance on the offensive line.
160.) San Diego Chargers-
Owen Schmitt- FB West Virginia- Lorenzo Neal is out of town, and even though they have Andrew Pinnock it would be good to have one of the top full backs in the draft.
161.) Indianapolis Colts-
Dennis Dixon- QB Oregon- Jeff Sorgis preformance was so bad week 17, and the Colts have so few needs, they can afford to take a quarterback mid way threw the draft.
162.) Green Bay Packers-
DeJuan Tribble- CB Boston College- Tribble will add more help if the Packers secondary continues to struggle. Tribble once went in the third of my mock, so another great value pick.
163.) Dallas Cowboys-
Vince Hall- ILB Virginia Tech- Cowboys this late in the draft will be searching more for special team players such as Hall.
164.) New England Patriots-
Cody Wallace- C Texas A&M- The Patriots offensive line was pushed around and exposed in the Super Bowl. They won't let that happen again, so they'll keep some options behind the starters in case things get bad.
165.) New York Giants-
Kenny Iwebema- DE/OLB Iowa- A versatile end and linebacker simmilar who would add to the best pass rush in the league.
166.) San Diego Chargers-
Mike Hart- RB Michigan- San Diego has the best running back in the league, but with backup Michael Turner gone the Bolts will need someone behind him. Hart was thought to be a 1st rounder going into 2007 but disappointed. Maybe he can be more successful on an elite Chargers team.
