A little too early for Fantasy Football? We don't think so. Here's an early taste of it with a recent mock draft we constructed...
1.) C- Hawks: LaDainian Tomlinson
- I was thinking about Adrian Peterson here, but you just can't pass on LaDainian here. He's been the best fantasy star the last five years, and would be a great start to building my team.
2.) Jay's Jabronies: Adrian Peterson
- I knew he would be a start since day one. I would have taken him with number one as well.
3.) Legend Killerz: Brian Westbrook
- The total package. His running, receiving, and even special team skills will put me over the top. I just hope he doesn't stop at the 1 yard line again.
4.) Hurricane Kadryna: Steven Jackson
- Injuries held him back last season. He'll be back this year and possibly get that 2500 yard guarentee.
5.) Destroyers: Ryan Grant
- Grant had the most rushing yards to end the second half of the season. Hopefully he keeps it rolling in 2008.
6.) Block Buster Boys: Marion Barber
- A total workhorse in the Cowboys offense. With Julius Jones out of there, he'll get even more carries.
7.) Lions: Tom Brady
- He only had the best fantasy season ever for a quarterback last season. With him running my team, I should be guarenteed a playoff spot.
8.) Dynasaurus: Marshawn Lynch
- This rookie running back, in Buffalo, ran for over 1000 yards even when teams knew they'd run. I'm looking for an even better season next year.
9.) Seaside Squirts: Willie Parker
- An injury kept him from getting the rushing title last season. I'm banking on a big comeback.
10.) Barca Breakers: Joeseph Addai
Not a great season last year, but injuries played a factor. Don't worry, he'll have his best season to date next year.
11.) Larkin and the Rippers: Frank Gore
- Mike Martz already said he will use Frank Gore a lot this season. With Gore the best player remaining, I can't pass him up.
12.) Air Wiggins: Peyton Manning
I'd love to take a running back here, but it's just too hard to pass on him on this wrap around.
13.) Air Wiggins: Clinton Portis
- If I don't go running back now, I'll have nothing later. Portis should fit the role as my number one.
14.) Larkin and the Rippers: Randy Moss
- I pray at night he doesn't leave New England. If so, it was pretty early for him.
15.) Barca Breakers: Ronnie Brown
- Brown was a force before he was injured. Hopefully Miami can draw some attention off him this off-season with some more offensive threats.
16.) Seaside Squirts: Willis McGahee
- He was the only thing worth talking about in Baltimore last season. Not bad for my number two.
17.) Dynasaurus: Terrell Owens
- A sure bet for 1000 + yards and 10 touchdowns. Ill take it.
18.) Lions: Larry Johnson
- I'm taking a huge risk here. I really hope he can return to his 2005 form. If so, I'm golden, if not I'm screwed.
19.) Block Buster Boys: Brandon Jacobs
- I'm getting a deal here. Jacobs will be even better next season.
20.) Destroyers: Edgerrin James
- I was even suprised by Edge's stats last season. More solid than I thought. I hope Arizona doesn't draft a running back in the draft. If so, I wasted a 2nd round pick.
21.) Hurricane Kadryna: Reggie Bush
- People call him overrated, but I'll be laughing when he runs all over defenses next season.
22.) Legend Killerz: Tony Romo
- I should have a solid fantasy quarterback as long as Jessica Simpson isn't in the crowd.
23.) Jays Jabronies: Reggie Wayne
- Besides Moss, probably the best fantasy option at wide receiver (Yes I know who Terrell Owens is).
24.) C-Hawks: Maurice Jones-Drew
- Dear Fred Taylor, please retire. Thank You.
25.) C-Hawks: Chad Johnson
- Nobody has more yards at receiver than Chad Johnson the past five years. Check and mate.
26.) Jays Jabronies: Larry Fitzgerald
- I'm not buying into the rumors of him being traded. Last season was a statement, and he should be the best number two in this league.
27.) Legend Killerz: Laurence Maroney
- With Randy Moss possibly being gone, and Stallworth out already, maybe the Patriots will focus more on the run game.
28.) Hurricane Kadryna: Braylon Edwards
- Finally Braylon came into the scene last season. Hopefully Derek Anderson stays and they have the same magic.
29.) Destroyers: Torry Holt
- Every season Holt is solid. Watch though, I'll pick him the season he starts to show his age.
30.) Block Buster Boys: Marqeus Colston
- It was a damn shame he didn't make the Pro Bowl last season. This young super star is worth being a number one on anyones fantasy team.
31.) Lions: Andre Johnson
- When healthy, he was maybe the best receiver in the NFL. Too bad he's in Houston and not heard from.
32.) Dynasaurus: Earnest Graham
- Huge risk here, but I don't like any of the othern running backs remaining.
33.) Seaside Squirts: Drew Brees
- If it weren't for Tom Brady, Brees could have been named the best fantasy quarterback out there. I feel he's a steal .
34.) Barca Breakers: Steve Smith
- Injuries and bad quarter back play have held him back the last two seasons. That wont be the case in 2008.
35.) Larkin and the Rippers: Carson Palmer
- PLEASE DON'T TRADE CHAD JOHNSON
36.) Air Wiggins: Jamal Lewis
I need a solid second runningback, and he's the best remaining.
37.) Air Wiggins: Fred Taylor 38.) Larkin and the Rippers: Marvin Harrison 39.) Barca Breakers: Brandon Marshall 40.) Seaside Squirts: Wes Welker 41.) Dynasaurus: Eli Manning 42.) Lions: LenDale White 43.) Block Buster Boys: Travis Henry 44.) Destroyers: Dwayne Bowe 45.) Hurricane Kadryna: Brett Favre 46.) Legend Killerz: T.J Houshmandzedeh 47.) Jays Jabronies: Matt Hasselbeck 48.) C-Hawks: Roddy White
49.) C-Hawks: Jason Witten 50.) Jays Jabronies: Antonio Gates 51.) Legend Killerz: Donald Driver 52.) Hurricane Kadryna: Darren McFadden* 53.) Destroyers: Tony Gonzalez 54.) Block Buster Boys: Derek Anderson 55.) Lions: Thomas Jones 56.) Dynasaurus: Anquan Boldin 57.) Seaside Squirts: Kellen Winslow 58.) Barca Breakers: Plaxico Burress 59.) Larkin and the Rippers: Roy Williams 60.) Air Wiggins: Santonio Holmes
61.) Air Wiggins: Greg Jennings 62.) Larkin and the Rippers: Chester Taylor 63.) Barca Breakers: Donovan McNabb 64.) Seaside Squirts: Rudi Johnson 65.) Dynasaurus: Bernard Berrian 66.)
