Chapta 26
Skie and Ia use to be inseparable. Now they were arm's length away at all times.
"What's a matter with Skie and Ia?" Luffy asked.
"They're fighting." Nami said.
"They look ok?" Luffy said.
"Different kinda fight, Luffy." she said.
"Oh. It's a boring fight if you ask me!" he yelled.
OoOoOoOoOoOoO
Skie was in the crow's nest, drawing while Ia was in the Grove, writing. Since Sanji was on Ia's side and Zoro on Skie's, the crew was practically split in half.
"What are you doing?" Sanji asked Ia.
"Erasing Skie's name from my notebooks." she said, pointing at the pile of about 4 notebooks.
"Taking a while?"
"Yes! Her name is on every flippen page!"
"What are you doing, Skie?" Zoro asked her.
"Taking out all the pictures of Ia." she said and tore the corner of the page that had Ia on it off.
"Taking a while?"
"Yes. She's on almost every flippen page!" she said.
OoOoOoOoOoOoO
"They are ditermened to hate each other." Sanji said to Nami.
"What is it about anyway?"
"...I don't know. I'll ask." he said and went to find Ia.
OoOoOoOoOoOoO
"Ia? Ia? Ia!" Sanji yelled.
"What?" Ia yelled back from somewhere.
"Where are you?"
"Look up." she said. He looked up and saw her floting around about 20 feet in the air.
"Come down." he said. She dropped herself and let Sanji catch her.
"You rang?"
"Why are you arguing with Skie?"
"That's very simple... she is a backstabber!"
"Why?"
"She's a hypocritical Jerk!"
"Hypocritical?"
"Yes! She griped about me liking you and than she goes and get's herself Zoro!" Ia yelled.
"So you're mad at her for liking the Crap Swordsman."
"Ya. Pretty Much!" she said.
"Ok." he said and went to find Nami.
OoOoOoOoOoOoO
"She hates her for being a backstabber and a hypocritical jerk." Sanji told Nami.
"All because she likes Zoro?"
"Ya."
"They really are stupid." she said.
"I've got a plan to get them together again!" Sanji said.
"They're not that stupid!" Nami yelled.
"What do you mean?"
"They will never fall for something as stupid as a plan! They are determined to hate each other!"
"This plan will work!"
OoOoOoOoOoOoO
Skie was walking around on deck. Sanji came out and asked, "What'r you doing?"
"Walking. I'm board." she said.
"Are you mad at Ia?"
"Yes. She's a jerk!"
"Not a backstabbing one?"
"Yes! She is!"
"Why do you hate her?"
"I don't hate her. She's just infuriating right now!"
"Oh. Need a hug?"
"Sure." she said and hugged him. Ia, who was in their room, came out on deck and saw this horrific display of nastiness between Her Sanji-kun and her nemesis!
Chapta 27
Ia stared at them. Fury mixed with hatred and broken heartedness. She stood there untill Sanji saw her. When he did, she ran off.
OoOoOoOoOoOoO
"Sanji! You practically killed her!" Nami yelled at him.
"I know." he said. They were in the kitchen. Nami had just finished talking to Ia and was taking it all out on Sanji.
"Where's Skie?"
"On deck. With Zoro."
"Was this part of your 'plan'?" she yelled.
"I didn't think she would see or find out. I was just trying to get them to stop fighting."
"You got them to hate each other for eternity now!"
"I kinda figured that out." he said.
Nami left.
OoOoOoOoOoOoO
"When's supper?" Luffy asked.
"Don't know if Sanji's cooking tonight."
"Why?" Zoro asked.
"He got Ia to hate him." she said.
"How?" Skie started to edge away now.
"He hugged Skie in front of her."
"WHAT!?" he yelled.
"Don't look at me!" Skie yelled.
"WHY?" he yelled.
"Trying to stop Ia and me from fighting." she said.
"He's dead!"
"I think he already is dead." Nami said.
"NO FOOD!?" Luffy yelled.
"I mean figuratively!"
"Oh." he said.
"Where is Ia?" Usopp asked.
"Cargo Hold." she said.
"Why?"
"She fells like being alone." she said.
OoOoOoOoOoOoO
That night...
Sanji couldn't sleep, again. He laid there and thought.
'I know it's not your fault.' he heard some one say. He bolted upright and looked around. 'It really isn't. I heard the whole thing. Between you and Nami. I thank you for trying to get me and Skie friends again... but... did you really have to do that?' she asked.
"I thought I was doing something right?" he said to the room of non-conscious people.
'It's ok.' she said.
"Are you?"
'...not yet...' she said.
OoOoOoOoOoOoO
That morning, Ia wasn't at breakfast.
She was on deck. She was sitting in Luffy's spot and wouldn't move. Luffy was sad all day.
When night had reached. She had gotten down. Sanji was waiting for her.
"Sanji?" she asked as she found him in the kitchen.
"What did I do?"
She didn't say anything.
"What can I do to make it better?"
"There isn't anything to do." she said.
"What?" he asked but noticed that her eyes were green. She was, different. Her face was blank. She got up and walked, drone like, out onto the deck. Sanji followed. She walked down the deck and up to Luffy's seat. Sanji watched, horrified about what he thought she was about to do.
"Ia?" he asked. She didn't answer. "Ia?"
"Of course i'll jump! I'm not scared!" she said in a happy tone. Like she didn't know Sanji was there. "Just because it's the high dive? Come on! I'm not a ninny!" she said and walked to the edge of the bow. Sanji ran over, but it was too late.
28 chapta's??? SWEET!
Sanji dived in after her, he searched everywhere but the water was too dark, he couldn't find her. He returned to the surface to find the crew waiting for him on deck.
"Where is she?" Nami asked.
"Couldn't find her." he said.
Everybody was silent. Skie stepped up to Sanji and held out a piece of paper. The crew went inside.
Sanji looked at the paper. All it had was writing on it, Ia's messy hadwriting.
There are stars in the southern sky,
Southward as you go.
There is moonlight and moss in the trees,
On the night I go home!
Sanji read this paper about a thousand times. He couldn't believe it.
He ran into the kitchen.
"NAMI!"
"What?"
"Which way are we going?"
"South, why?"
He ran outside and looked up in the sky. Behind them was clouds but in front of them, southward, it was a star filled sky.
He read the next line, moonlight and moss in the trees. He took a sigh of reliefe. There were no trees out in the middle of the ocean. A shadow was cast upon him. He looked up and couldn't see the moon because of Nami's... tangerine... grove. He ran over to them and looked. Sure enough (and to add to his nightmare) there was moss growing on them.
He walked slowly towards the kitchen when he heard a blast from somewhere far off. Cannons.
There was a huge splash about 5 feet from the boat. The rest of the crew ran outside as another blast was heard and another splash appeard, this time about a foot from the boat.
Nami ran up to the wheel and turned away from the other boat. Unfortunatly for them, the boat caught up to them.
The other boat's crew jumped onto the Going Merry. Their captain floated on after them.
"Ah! The Straw Hats. What a pleasure!" he said pervertedly. He was wearing a long black coat with a high collar so they didn't see half of his face. His skin was ghostly white and he had a tall black hat on. He looked like a vampire.
"Who the hell are you?" Zoro yelled.
"I'm Oiretsym. You are the former bounty hunter, Zoro." he said with an evil grin.
"How did you know that?"
"I know everything! You are Luffy, the one with the 100mill on your head." Luffy was awestruck. "Nami, the theif and navigator, Usopp, the marksmen, Skie, the... what are you again?"
"None of your business." she said.
"Sanji, the cook. Well! Now you know! I do know everything!"
"No you don't!" a yell was heard from far off.
"You don't know everything! You're just reading their minds! You perverted freak!"
"Silence! Or I wont let you see them again!"
"You can't keep me forever! Who even said I was in your clutches anyway?"
"WHAT!?" the crew was confused. The straw hats were even more confused.
"Like I said! You security system sucks!"
"What?"
"Look up." she said.
Everybody looked up and didn't see anything. Suddenly the guy's hat was sliced in two and fell off his head, reveling a bald spot. His crew started giggling.
"Crap!" they heard the voice yell. 3 swords hit the deck with a clatter.
"That was stupid!" she yelled.
"These are Ia swords?" Sanji said, examining them.
Suddenly the captain was blown off the edge of the boat and into the water.
"God he's annoying!" the girl yelled. Everybody looked up to see a tall, black haired, 16-year-old, floating about 10 feet in the air. Eyes flashed green.
