Watches - sales/swaps/wanted

On this page, from time to time, I'll be listing bits and pieces from my collection. Some bits for sale, some bits for trade, and also wanted items. Watches are unserviced unless otherwise stated, but I'll always try and be full with any descriptions.

If anything interests you, or you can help with a wanted item, please email me at ian.fogden@btinternet.com

This Oriosa is an easy project for somebody. Manual wind 17 jewel movement in running order. Screw on case back, marked 3 Atmos. Dial and hands are very much like the older Omega Dynamic models. Clean watch overall. Dial is pretty good, better than the picture suggests, but there is a mark at the 8 o'clock marker. Measures about 38mm across including crown. Needs a new crystal and caseback gasket to tidy it up. Looking to trade this watch for anything interesting (watch related) that you might have - steel bracelets, magazines, books, straps, WHY ?

Tissot Navigator Automatic - circa 1970's

This Tissot is in superb original condition. Running well. All steel case (40mm including crown) is near mint. Dial and hands both superb. A very nice Tissot indeed. Head only, looks great on a black NATO. Asking price is a firm £65 plus postage. (TISSOT NOW ON HOLD FOR CHRIS - THANKS)

Next up a couple of project watches.......

Rare Bulova Accuquartz from 1973

This Bulova is in need of repair. The watch currently does not run, although the movement does hum when a new battery is put in. This may indicate that a cleaning is all that is required. Worst case scenario is that the watch is a useful source of parts for a movement that wasn't common. Movement looks to be very clean. Case is gold plated and has wear to the edges. Dial and hands are both excellent. Asking £45, firm, plus postage.

Seiko Chronograph - Automatic, 6139-7100 from 1977

This Seiko chrono needs a little work to make it a goodun. Helmet shaped case has a few nicks but would polish up nicely. Movement is clean and running, and the chrono functions work and reset to zero. Pushers are a bit stiff, but they do work. Needs a crown, stem and new crystal -all parts are readily available. Dial and hands are mint. Worth the effort to make right. Asking £45, firm, which is less than the individual parts are worth if the watch was to be broken for spares.
