General Information/Website
World Class Virtual Airlines is a Non-Profit Virtual Airline... a hobbyist club for Flight Simulation enthousiasts. We now have 3 hubs.
WCV offers a forum for basically any question and/or comments about flight simming or our airlines. There is also an "Ask The Chief Pilot" section of our forum where you can get specific flight questions answered by our Chief Pilot. Inside the WCV Fleet Hangar, you will find all of our aircraft including the latest models. We fly many of the original painted aircraft, but also to enhance the virtual pilot experience, We offer standard cargo aircraft such as the B747-400F.
If for some reason you resign from this VA, you may re-apply when able to fly without possibly losing your hours and rank. Our database keeps track of all pior members of our VA so that they may receive their last rank and hours. Unfortunately if you leave this VA, all records of awards will be permanently deleted.
Uniform Code of Conduct
* Pilots who are found to be submitting fraudulent flight time will be removed from the roster immediately upon the second infraction after a warning for the first offence.
* Pilots who are found to have applied using false or inappropriate information (including lewd, crude, explicit and suggestive email addresses) will not be considered and application deleted.
* Pilots who act in such a way on our forum, sponsored events or in emails that hurt others or make the flight simulation experience not enjoyable will be removed from the rosters and will not be considered for re-hire.
* Pilots who are found giving out airline information to other airlines or organizations, embarrasses the VA or does anything to the VA that can be deemed harmful by the CEO, President or Senior Vice President will be removed from the rosters and will not be reconsidered for re-hire.
* Any Hub related questions/issues should be addressed to the Hub Management team first. IF you do not get a response to the issue or can not get the issue resolved to your satisfaction, both pilot and the HM shall go to mediation. Mediation team verdict is FINAL.

To join World Class Airlines, you must complete an application which is located within the Human Resources link of the main menu at the top. 2. I have a valid email address and firewall that accepts evair.org messages.
3. I want to develop my skills in this hobby.
4. I have Microsoft Flight Simulator (copyright) 2002, 2004 or FSX.

Once you apply, you will receive a validating email to the address you provided. If you do not receive this validating email, check your settings and apply again. After 3 application attempts from same IP and/or email address, you will be permanently blocked from our system.
Once you join WCV, you will be assigned a unique pilot Name WCV_your first name. That name will signify the division and the hub. This is your persoanl identification for the airline. Please make sure to use this name in all correspondence in all (Pilot Reports). Also, should you choose to fly online with groups s The WCV prefix will allow others including the ATC see you as World Class Virtual Airlines.
Flight Schedules
Most flights are round trip originating from your assigned hub. We offer a varied flight schedule with both domestic and international destinations.
As much as possible, we include a variety of daytime and night time flights to many of our destinations. We have assigned specific aircraft to the flights based on range and destinations. We request that you use the assigned aircraft unless your HM/AHM approves or assigns an alternate aircraft. We also typically offer Flight Specials that may be completed only after completion of your weekly assigned flight. These flights vary from time to time and help add variety to your flying, aircraft and destinations including charters, mainenance, and on-line events.
Pilots may start clocking their flight time from the moment they start their push back from the gate and should stop clocking their time at the moment they park at the gate "on the block" closing their flight plan. That includes all taxing time and all flight time.
WCV pilots are allowed to report maximum of 11 hours per every 24 hour period, maximum of 70 hours per week. PIREPS filed for any amount of hours over the 11 in 24 hour timeframe will be rejected without consideration.
Pilots must log their flight time after every flight by manually filling out a pirep. It is not permissable to collect or save up large amounts of flights and then log multiple flights all at once. Each flight must be logged after is is completed or your PIREP will be rejected.
Activity Expectations
The following are general policies of WCV. These are minimum standards and may be superceded but not diminished by individual Hub Management. Any individual hub addenda will be recognized provided the additions have been approved by the CEO, President and Senior Vice President and on file with all members of Senior Staff.
As a general rule, new flight assignments are always made one a PIREP is filed. It is the policy of this VA to prohibit the acceleration of flying. Pilots are not to fly more that the 1X (Normal) speed of the simulator. Flight weeks run from Saturday to Friday. Please check with your HM/AHM as to a specific time that PIREPS are to be filed by to be included in current flight week hours. WCV expects each pilot to fly at least one flight with a 2 week range. Pilots are encouraged to fly and have an assigned flight due every week. If you can't make your flights, please let your HM/AHM know.
WCV's policy is designed not to keep inactive pilots on our rosters. Any new pilot that does not file a PIREP within their first week with the VA after receiving their welcome letter will be immediately terminated. To remain active, you must log at least one flight every 14 days or you will be subject to disciplinary action as prescribed below:
ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE - Status change with email notification that a pilot has not filed a report in 14 days.
SUSPENSION - Status change with email notification that a pilot has not filed a report in 28 days.
TERMINATION - Status change with email notification that a pilot has not filed a report in 35 days.
LEAVE OF ABSCENCE - Status change to delay the above process as long as the HM/AHM of the pilot's hub is notified with good reason. This status IS NOT available to any pilot with the rank of Trainee or those who are currently in our orientation hub at Detroit (KDTW)!!
If you need time off for longer than 14 days and wish to stay on the roster, you need to email your HM/AHM and request to be placed on Leave Of Abscence (LOA). LOA is good for 30 days. After 30 days, the above processes start unless a second LOA is requested. A pilot who remains on LOA status for more than 2 months will be subject to removal from the roster without notice. WCV grants 2 LOA request per pilot per calendar year.
Definition of the Admin Roller Coaster: Complete 1 or 2 assignments then go inactive for 14 plus days. Get ADMIN Notice, complete another 1 or 2 assignments then go inactive again.
Having to put pilots on administrative leave is not only time consuming for the Hub Manager, but it likewise detracts from the overall performance of the Hub.
The new WCV Policy for WCV Members is that you get 3 rides on the "Roller Coaster". Your fourth period of inactivity will result in your termination from the VA.
Bonus Time System
WCV offers the following incentive programs with a bonus of 0.2 hour multiplier for subsequent flights during the week:
Charter Flights - Various charter flights are created along with our well known Around The World (AW) charter. These flights are NOT offered to those in our orientation hub at Detroit.
Flight Specials - We have a NFL team charter during the football season with a specially painted aircraft for each team. These flights are NOT offered to those in our orientation hub at Detroit.
Maintenance Flights - Flights to manufacturers repair centers around the world. This is a great charter for those of you who use FS Passengers and your aircraft is due maintenance. These flights are NOT offered to those in our orientation hub at Detroit.
On-Line Flights - Any WCV approved event that is done on an on-line network service such as Our server
Simply request these offerings from your HM/AHM team and submit a PIREP with your raw hours and place "CHARTER" in the comment section of the report.
Transfers
INTERNAL:
If you decide that you would like to fly out of a different hub, you may transfer to that hub by completing the Pilot Transfer request form.
In order for your transfer to be processed, you must have been in your current hub for at least 30 days. The database keeps track how long a pilot has been assigned in a particular hub and will not allow anyone under 30 days to put the request in. Be sure that you have completed ALL outstanding flights and have requested no more flights be assigned due to requesting a transfer. If you have an outstanding flight, you MAY NOT transfer to another hub.
EXTERNAL:
If you are a pilot within another VA and decide to join WCV, you will be given hours for previous flight hours flown with a recognized VA. The amount of transferrable hours will not exceed 100 hours and will only be credited after submission of first PIREP for WCV. You must provide a working link to your present VA roster showing your hours at time of application. If the site requires a password or your hours can't be confirmed during application processing, you will receive no credit and the HM/AHM will be made aware of this situation. AGAIN, these hours WILL be validated only during application process. If there is no website provided in the comments field of the application or the website requires a Password, there will be no prior service hours rewarded and the matter will not be open for discussion later. If you are a returning WCV member, then your hours and rank at time of leaving this VA will be researched. If found, you will be credited.
