Flying Department

       Welcome to the Flying Department! On this website you will find all the courses that are team taught by Peeves & Professor Benjamin Searching. The following classes are found on this website:

• Standard Flying: This course will teach the student the basics of using a broom to fly. This course is required to be completed before a student joins their house quidditch team.
• Intermediate Flying: This course will continue where Standard Flying left off. A little more effort will be required for this course.
• Advanced Flying: This course will complete the trio course in learning to fly. Having completed these three courses, you can almost be assured of a spot on the quidditch team.

       After the completion of all three courses you should be able to competantly fly and use a broom. Professor Benjamin Searching & Peeves are both the professors of this class and both deserve the same respect.

Grading Policy:

       In all three courses Participation is key. Participation is worth 100% of your final grade in Beginning & Intermediate Flying; in Advanced Flying 50% of your grade is participation and 50% is the Certification.

Certification:

       Certification is the exam that you take at the end of the three Flying classes that shows that you are a compitent flyer and can control a broom properly.

Lessons:

       Each week, in all three classes you will have one lesson. You must post at least 5 times in the forum designated for flying class in order to receive credit. Its really not that hard. Good Luck!
