Title: Paved Paradise Date: May 24 2007 Medium: Micron 5.0 pen, Prismacolor Pencils, colored pencils, watercolor Dimensions: 18" x 12" Commentary: I really wanted thispiece to be kind of surreal. Its supposed to be a tree constructed entirely from inorganic materials. I'm rather pleased with the overall product, but its not as dark as I imagined it to be. Oh well, I suppose that means I'll have to try again. Originally, I hadn't planned on using watercolors for the background, but it produced a very nice sickly-looking effect.
