Where it all started
Quattro Flauti met in secondary school. Being in seperate years, the members were brought together by the school orchestra and the area youth orchestra. All four members have taken Associated Board grade 8 exams (passing with either merrit or distinction) and all have achieved, or are working towards, diplomas. Performing is the career the four members want to go into, so they formed a flute quartet. Since then they have performed at a very high standard at flute days and local concerts.

Miranda
Currently at college studying music and music technology AS levels. Miranda has a great love for all types of music, especially modern flute pieces. She hopes to go to Leeds or Birmingham music college after a year out. Having recently achieved her performance diploma, she has performed at various concerts with her local youth orchestra and with Quattro Flauti. Also a flute teacher, Miranda is available for teaching and has many pupils currently learning.

Suzy
Currently in her last year at college, Suzy is hoping to go to Cambridge after taking a year out. She studies music A level and loves classical and contempory flute. She plays for the local youth orchestra, teaches flute and piano, and has performed at concerts with Quattro Flauti. Suzy is preparing for her performance diploma.

Seb
Seb (the youngest) is currently studying GCSE music, allowing him to perform frequently on the flute. He plays for the local youth and county orchestra. He has played in many performances in and around Winchester.

Sarah
Sarah has just taken her GCSEs which included music and will be embarking on her AS music course in September. She performs with the local youth and county orchestra. She loves all kinds of music and also plays piano with quattro flauti instead of her flute in certain repertoire. She has performed at many local concerts and is also available for teaching.
