I no longer breed my gliders because I have decided that rescuing is where my heart lies. If there are not any joeys available, and that is what you have your heart set on, I can help you find a responsible breeder. If the place you look at is commercial and not private... I would recommend looking elsewhere. Commercial businesses are only in it for the money and do not care about the animal's health, lineage, or well-being. You may get an inbred, underage, weak glider infected with giardia, a common and fatal disease that stems from contaminated drinking water. Of course, there are also people who get animals that are just fine, but they are the lucky ones. Please, go with a small-scale breeder who cares about the animals.

Note: Rescues are not to be bred - all females and males who are too young to be neutered come with a non-breeding and/or neutering contract. The adoption fee is only to defer some of the veterinary costs, and to ensure that the gliders aren't going to people who answer "free to good home" ads in order to resell the animals. It does not completely cover my expenses; I do NOT do this for profit. You will find some "rescuers" that resell their rescues or breed them - this is wrong! Please be careful where your animals go!

Temperament Scale

All rescues and joeys are rated on a 1 to 5 scale. This scale tells about their temperament, but it does not mean that an animal with a 3 is better than an animal with a 4- it's just to tell you more about their personality.

1	Total bra baby. Hardly ever crabs or bites.
2	Sweetheart. Can be a bit crabby, but warms up fast.
3	A bit skittish or crabby. Takes more time to warm up than a 2.
4	Skittish, crabby, or a biter. May be pouch protective.
5	Does not like to be approached, and likes to bite (hard). May also be crabby or skittish.

Other Animals

Young female German Shepherd mix free to good home in North Alabama. Hunny is a sweet girl with lots of energy, but she is too much for her laid back family, who are friends of mine. Please contact me if you are interested in seeing her.

5 month old male Bengal kitten with shots. He is a beautiful, vocal, playful little boy with lots of love to give, but his owners couldn't keep up with him. He was purchased for almost a grand, so the requested adoption fee is $300 with a neuter/care contract. Here he is:
