Thank you to everyone who attended the FEPC show this past Saturday at M/C Arena in Moss Bluff. The weather was great and we had fun. Thank you to Cathy & Hubert Martin for allowing us to have the show there. They also supplied the $200 added money for the Open Polebending class. Thank you so much.
A big thank you also goes to Surgi-Care of Brandon for their sponsoring of the $50 added money for the Youth Polebending class.
We had a meeting on Saturday and a few rules have changed for this year. First, to qualify for State Finals this year, a member has to compete in two district shows. Points earned at each show will only be for district awards designations. Second, anyone who is an NPBA member is allowed to attend any district show to get their number show qualification to attend the NPBA nationals as not all will be NPBA approved, but most will be; however, they cannot earn district points if they are in the undesignated district.
I will post results as soon as possible.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE FOLLOWING FEPC MEMBERS:
MELISSA ALBERT - MARCH 19th
JOE PICKERRELL - APRIL 14th

The northern District show that was cancelled on March 8th has been rescheduled. Please see the Northern District link.
New Policy: Not all FEPC events are going to be sanctioned with the NPBA. So, whether you are a northern or southern district member, you can run at either district events that are NPBA approved to qualify for their nationals. This may help others with gas, etc. and if you are wanting to go to their nationals each year. You just will not be able to earn year end points for the FEPC. You have to run your own district for that.

I have important news - please read the home page on the main website: www.floridaequineathlete.com.

Please note the following as they are stated in the rules and regulations. The FEPC will not hold any events during July and August. These two months are way to Hot and I do not want to risk any riders and/or horse's health. I also understand that these two months are usually busy with vacations, etc.
Also, there is a dress code for this circuit. Please see the rules and regulations.

I could not get the PDF file to download on this website so I attached new pages and copied over the information for membership. You will need to do the following:
1. Read over the Rules and Regulations link
2. Print out the membership application and complete
3. Print out the Youth Affidavit (if Applicable) and complete.
4. All must print and complete the Release and Waiver liability
5. If you want to become a member of the NPBA too (to qualify for Nationals) - Click on the NPBA link in the menu- it will take you to their website. Pull up their application and fill out.
If you plan to attend the January 19th show at Moss Bluff, to help me out, please go ahead and complete these to hand in at the show if you want points to count for year end, etc. The NPBA applications, I request, that you write a separate check payable to them for their dues. You can hand it in to me and I will mail in (as I need to verify membership of the NPBA anyway) OR you can mail in yourself. Just please let me know if you became a member or not as I have to keep account of everyone.
If for some reason the documents do not print out well, please email me at floridaequineathlete@netzero.com and I will email you the membership package.
The Florida Equine Polebender's Circuit
There will be Open 3D, Youth, and Senior Polebending with a one second split between each division and, of course, Open 3D Barrels (1 second split). The FEPC is in affiliation with the National Polebending Association.
You can run for the National Finals in Murfeesboro, TN $10,000 added by participating in 2 local qualifying shows. You do have to be a member of the NPBA to use the local show as a qualifying event. Another way to qualify is to run one regional show and you do have to be a member of the NPBA.
Being a member of the FEPC allows you to run for district awards and to qualify for state finals.
