"A friend should love at all times..." Means a true friend will be there with you when things are hard, not just when you have fun.
"...and a brother is born for adversity." Meaning that  your brothers and family are there for you, they are there when you need a shoulder to cry on.
I have a prayer request,  simply for me to show kindness towards others and brotherly love towards others.
