After a couple of rained out races Flannigan Racing finally got to get there second year in the 358 modified class off to and start on Saturdat at Merrittville Speedway in Thorold, Ontario. Tom started the feature race in 11th place Tom was involved in a early race accident that resulted in a flat right front tire. He was towed in and the crew fitted the car with a new shoe and sent him on his way. Tom completed the rest of the feature and climbed up to 13th.

On sinday it was the return of the 358 Modifieds to the Humberstone Speedway. Tom finished second in his heat race with gave him the 5th starting spot for the feature. Tom made it threw the feature running fifth.
