In the early nineties grunge was everywhere. movie stars were going around in flannel. It all got oversaturated and all but died. I've been a fan ever since i've heard it who knows how many years ago, but nowadays its hard to find that real grunge sound. Sure there are bands that say they are "grunge", but the truth is most of them are a bunch of pop divas who turned on distortion. Do you know what it would sound like if someone took backstreet boy vocals and mixed it with Nirvana's music. Well, you'd get Three Days Grace. And i don't need to tell you what a mess that is(if i need to tell you just leave this site now, its not for you).I'm starting this site as a grunge central. There will be a history page on this site soon. It will have info, pics, and music a bout the best original grunge acts (Mudhoney, Nirvana ETC). But the main function of this site is to expose new grunge acts that sometimes don't get the respect that they deserve. there will be reviews on new cds, mp3 downloads, pictures and links to the bands webstite. i will be sending a newsletter every month about recently added bands to the site as well as info on new releases. This newsletter will be sent (via e-mail of course) to anyone who wants it, just fill out the form at the bottom of the page. So until next time this is your landlord of grunge John, signing off.

i cleaned up the site a little bit. the list of bands is now on the navigation bar to the right.
grunge on,
John
