What a Day!
Wouldn't it suck to be a mom!
Sun rises, people wake
Cereal pored, breakfast baked
P.J.'s off, clothes on
People in cars, soon everyones gone
Kids in school, moms celebrate
Finally their 7 hour break
Last bell rings, back in cars
Kids so tired, they see stars
Pens write, homework done
They go outside, to have some fun
Dinner cooks, Dad is back
Kids sit for dinner, dad naps
Done eating, that was delicious
Now mom must clean the dishes
Clothes off, P.J.'s on
Dad reads to kids, then he's gone
Sun sets, moon appeirs
Get in bed, for dreams near

To all the girls of the world
The right hair, the perfect skirt
The cool shoes, the cute shirt
The stylish purse, the new socks
Th "in" belt, the graceful walks
This is what all girls want to be
Every single one of them, except me (and Carly)
You don't need to be popular, perfect or even the best
You don't need to be any of this to be better than the rest
Just be yourself and maybe they will see
How beautiful and smart you can really be
Instead of popularity, I chose real friends
The ones that will be their, until the very end
Because later on, it won't matter where you sat
But what will matter is what you learned in math
