Five Forks Toy Fox Terriers

I am Danny Rogers ~ Here at Five Forks, we show and breed on occasion, quality Toy Fox Terriers. My love for the TFT and the reason I chose this breed started in 2001.  TFTs are small dogs and I found they are easy to care for and manage.  They thrive on attention and love to curl up in a blanket or on a nice warm lap.  TFTs are very good natured and certainly non-aggressive.  At first, I intended only to get one TFT, but after seeing how easy they are to care for, train and to love, I had to have another. After a couple of years of owning two TFTs, a dear teacher friend, Carol Wynn, introduced me to the world of dog showing. 

I began to search for the right female to begin building my program.  I purchased a very nice bitch, 'Kajun-Fox Sweet Madeline'. Under the skillful handling of Dana Smoak, Maddie finished her AKC Championship before she turned 1 year old.  We continued to special Maddie and she won 12 Best of Breed competitions within the next year. We then bred Maddie to the outanding AKC Champion and UKC Grand Champion 'Jacob & Maldon Wakan Tonka AOM ROMX'. This litter produced 'AKC Champion Five Forks Take It To The Max'. A repeat breeding produced a promising show prospect, 'Five Forks Major Pandemonium'. Panda is now being shown by Kelly and Alex Maldon with Maldon TFTs. 

In 2008 we added another bitch, 'Kajun-Fox Dorie of five Forks'.  Expertly handled by Dana Smoak, Dorie finished her AKC Championship in the spring of 2009.  With his lively spirit and excellent conformation, we added 'Maldonfox Never Say Never', Kimo, to enhance our breeding program. He finished  his AKC Championship in early 2009.  We also enjoy showing our dogs in the United Kennel Club and have had great success!

We test for Congenital Hypothyroidism with Goiter (CHG). All Five Forks Toy Fox Terriers are CHG clear.
