The Fitchburg Rollstones Base Ball Club from Central Massachusetts plays by the rules and customs of base ball as it was played in the 1860’s. The Rollstones get their name from the Fitchburg Rollstones Athletic Club that played as an amateur team in the 1860's and a professional team in the 1870's and 1880's.
The Rollstones are part of the Northern Massachusetts Vintage Base Ball League along with vintage clubs from Melrose, Essex, and Lynn. The league plays by the 1861 New England Vintage Base Ball League (NEVBBL) Rules. The Rollstones had a successful inaugural season finishing 7-3 in league play and 7-10 overall.
