Connie's Journey to Fitness!

The First Day of the Rest of my LIFE !                   

The story goes like this.  I have been overweight for most of my adult life.  I say most, because there were a couple of years when I was newly divorced and on the scene dating as many men as I could get my hands on, that I was fit and thinner.  I was not skinny but I looked good.  I was working out, eating small healthy meals and I was pretty happy.  I was also blonde...very blonde but that probably has little to do with anything.  

As I write this....I weight 210 lbs.  This is not my heaviest weight.  I have been 245 but that was 8 years and another life ago.  

210 seems to be a favorite weight of mine.  I have been 210 several times this year and everytime I lose a little weight...I come right back to 210.  Not sure why that is but I'm working hard to change that.

The Plan! 

Exercise 30 minutes 6 days a week 

Eliminate non-diet soda and sweets

Eat more Fruits and Veggies 

Eat smaller portions

Drink more water

Get more exercise with my children

Eat less Fast Food
