WORSHIP & MUSIC

WORSHIP

Fisherwick has a broad range of worship and musical styles all of which seek to lead people to worship God in "spirit and truth". Using all the creative gifts that God has blessed the congregation with we seek to provide many ways that people can express their worship to God. The church is richly blessed with people with musical gifts including a number of professional musicians and teachers who seek to equip others in developing their musical gifts with the primary focus being to offer God true "heart worship". We do not believe in musical performance in worship, but do seek to "play skillfully" as Psalm 33v3 says offering our best to God.

On Sunday Morning Worship we have a robed four part choir which leads worship. The choir seeks not only to lead the congregation in worship but also through anthems and contemporary choral singing provide opportunities through which God communicates with us.

On Sunday Evening at Sunday Night Live we have teams of worship leaders and musicians who lead contemporary worship.

The choir meet on Wednesday evenings from 7.45pm to 9.30pm. For more information contact our Musical Director, Neale Agnew at office@fisherwick.net.
