Fisherwick Church is led by a Kirk Session of representing the great variety of people whose faith home is Fisherwick, they have, together with the Minister, responsibility for the spiritual oversight of the congregation.

Mrs
Wilson became Clerk of Session in 1999 (succeeding another lady
Marjorie Edwards). She was formerly Headmistress of Bloomfield
Collegiate School (and earlier Armagh Girls High School) and was
appointed OBE by the Queen on her early retirement. Perhaps the best
description of her is as the ‘calm at the eye of the storm’. Her quiet
wisdom, good humour and deep faith make her ideal in leading and
guiding both Session and congregation.

The
Board of Management is elected every other year by the congregation.
Twenty four members carry responsibility for all the financial,
material and property concerns of the congregation. It is served by
three officers, all of whom are also members of Session.
