Hello, and Welcome to my website.
My name is Susan, a.k.a. FisherMOM. I have an addiction shared by millions of people all over the globe. That addiction is the need to fish. Some people fish once or twice in their life and that is enough. You know the kind, "social fishers". Well, I am as hardcore as my life will allow me to be. I am a wife and a stay at home Mom of two. My passion for fishing was revealed on a camping trip in 2002 when I watched a man flyfishing in the Ischua Creek in the Southerntier of New York State. More than a few trout were hooked that day.
I fly fish as well as use a spinning rod. This year I am learning to baitcast, and feel that it's going to come natural, as they all have so far. If I am not fishing, I am talking it, reading about it, or thinking about it. This winter the opportunity arose that I may write a column for a website online. Steve VonBrandt, a guide on the Delaware that I met on the NAFC bulleting boards, set me up with the executive producer, webmaster of The Delaware Valley Outdoors website. I sent Michael Haney one of my short articles, and he had it online the next day. I try to keep my articles update every two weeks.
So, with that said.... come on in and check out some of my catches over the paast few years... As od now, this site contains no HUGE fish, but I have had great pleasure catching each and everyone that I have caught.
