FREDERICTON FISH & GAME ASSOCIATION

CONSERVATION FIRST

Dear Member / Outdoors Person:

Welcome to the Fredericton Fish and Game Association, one of New Brunswick's oldest  Fish and Game Clubs. Since our beginning in 1924, we have participated in countless area fish & wildlife enhancement projects and have become the recognized voice for York and Sunbury County's hunters and fishers. We are also very proud of our ongoing commitment to the education of our members and the general public.

We have a successful history involving changes to provincial regulations, including the making of hunting and fishing more accessible to the physically challenged as well as a leader in the ongoing protest against firearm registration. We have a club member on the Board of Directors of the New Brunswick Wildlife Federation. We have put on a fly tying course each year since 1952, hold a Youth Fishing Tournament at Killarney Lake and have stocked Killarney Lake with over three thousand trout many over twelve inches in length since 2005. The lake is owned by the City of  Fredericton and allows anyone to fish with a proper licence. Ice fishing is also very popular. We have a Adopt-A-Stream program. Our meetings are held  at the EXIT Building 461 St. Mary's Street Fredericton. We try to keep each meeting interesting and informative with a guest speaker each month and the business part as short as possible. Fredericton Fish & Game meetings are a great place to meet and make new friends with interests similar to your own.

We need your help.  We have been representing area hunter's and fisher's rights since 1924 but are only as strong as our numbers.  A larger membership means a bigger voice.  You can make a difference!  We've proven it.

If you are a new or renewing member please fill out the membership form today.  A new card will be mailed to you without delay.
