First Cut (Take 2)

Come and see the latest offerings from the First Base Film Group. Featured as part of the Brighton Fringe Festival, the First Cut Film Screening will show the five films produced in year two of the project. They include:
  • Welcome to First Base – an infomercial about the day centre.
  • Video Diaries – service users’ stories
  • The Ray Saxby Review – a documentary about a service user
  • The Bike – a ghost story
  • Coining It – a riches to rags to richies story.
Come along and be surprised and entertained! Free entry for day centre service users, £2 to others.

Events in the Brighton Fringe Festival 2007

FIRST CUT 
A view without a room... A collection of adventurous short films written and produced by First Base Film Group featuring; DAY CENTRE BLUES, a short drama, GOOD BREAK, a documentary following the highs and lows of the First Base Snooker Championship, TALKING HEADS, views of First Base Service Users, LIFE PECULIAR, featuring the First Base Drama Group performance and LOST FOR WORDS, a silent comedy caper. The event featured a short 'Oscars' award ceremony and the launch of the First Base Anthology, Let Them Eat Biscuits - featuring work from all the different creative groups of the First Base Arts Project. Catering for the event was provided by the First Base Catering Project.

CASTINGS
