The South Glen Burnie Fire Station 26 is one of 30 stations that make up the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, located in Central Maryland just south of Baltimore, MD. The first due area is widely varied, from numerous garden apartment complexes to rural farming and agriculture.
The station is staffed by 39 career personnel. The station operates an engine company, an aerial tower and a paramedic ambulance with eight personnel per shift.
The station is the busiest in Anne Arundel County. With the engine, tower, and, paramedic unit running more calls than any of their counterparts in Anne Arundel County, with 9730 individual unit responses in 2007:
