Toby was born in Colchester, Essex, January 1971.

  At the age of ten he and his family moved to Bodmin in Cornwall where he stayed for the remainder of his childhood.

 He then ventured to London to pursue his singing and acting career.

At present when Toby is not performing himself, he is helping to mould the stars of tomorrow at Stonelands School of Ballet and Theatre Arts in his role as singing teacher to 65 full-time pupils.
