The Main Story
During the uprising of City 17, Freeman and a handful of resistance fighters started an assault on Combine defences and check points, which gave way for our rebel forces to attack in force and with limited casualties, however the Combine unimpressed by the level of breeches and fatalities along it's secure defence zones, decided to launch a major counter offensive surrounding areas Freeman could possibly be heading for. It didn't take long before Freeman, Rebel forces and the Combine came to a head and one of the biggest battles in City 17's history begun. However, Unknown to the Combine, Civilian refugees overran a security monitoring station and stole city plans that identified a massive potential key target. This target has to be destroyed!!!
The Target
Combine Command Centre
We are heading for a Combine controlled Train Station off the coastal area where troops are being drafter in at unprecedented masses. Our objective is to take out the train station and then head directly to the Command Centre west of the Station. The command centre regulates and directs troop deployment, incoming forces and primary battle directives for this entire sector. Without this centre the Combine will be severely crippled and incapacitated, in this entire region, allowing rebels to not only build fortified defences here but also to advance forward to a secondary target in the adjoining sector.
