Hey there, this is MIKE, adding my quick up-date for the month of January 2009! I say quick lol but it seems everything I do is lengthy, so here's hoping you all don't fall asleep reading this addition 
2008 was something of a Roller-coaster year for many, there was good and with the credit crunch/recession we also experienced some bad, however, I am hopeful of a more progressive year for everyone in 2009, now that things are stabilising globally.
2009 kicks off with a New Super Model of the World addition, just announced two days ago. Tayane Leao Melo representing Brazil, became overall winner of the contest in Montenegro. At the end of last year I highlighted Tayane in this competition, as one of the faces to look out for in 2009, so I am very pleased that this promising 14yo Model has been recognised and will follow in the footsteps of other Top Brazilian Fashion Models such as Camilla Finn and Adrina Lima. On a more negative note, in this new year, I am still seeing across the web, examples of youngsters in their own quest for fame and recognition, posting personal information too readily on-line. Talent profile sites that offer simple sign-ups for anybody are not always the wisest choice for direction of young talents, profiles are often un-monitored and consequently can leave those youngsters who choose to post personal information, wide open to scams, fraud, identity theft and un-suitable approaches. Closer to home and on a more positive note I have finally come up with some Great New natural and more rustic shell Jewelry (Jewellery for those in U.K lol) ranges, for those who prefer the more earthy, natural and timeless accessories. I am currently working alongside a great young talent and her mom to present these in a totally unique way within the next few weeks. In addition, Jamie 'Current website Model' will also Model examples of those items, from a selection sent to her and mom on her 14th Birthday, YAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Other new lines for Spring/Summer 2009, include a new chunky bracelet in shell, slightly shorter sticks used, to give a contrast to the other chunky bracelets, and two new Fancy Necklaces, both available across a range of colors (Colours again for those in the U.K). All these will be Modeled by Filey Website Models and Guest Models alike, including the next Project on the agenda, which will include a great young singing talent, more on that over the next month

Brief News on some Fileybelle Talents. Jamie recently completed some up-date photo shots just before new year, the photos are on-site, but can also be viewed on a video by clicking here!
Syd also I am told has some up-date shots wearing Fileybelle, taken over Christmas, but these have not been received as yet. Syd is waiting to hear if she been accepted at the Creative High School that she recently applied to, her audition for that was a few weeks back and I myself submitted a reference on her behalf to the school. Fingers crossed Syd gets accepted!
Micah has chosen Myspace as her main base to network and pursue her Music interests, I wish her luck with that and continue to liaise whenever Micah needs advice or some talents directional help.
Lexi, recently performed at a community event, as part of her School Band, which is cool.
I have not heard back from the agency of Lakshmi Camila, since their initial contact with me and subsequent telephone conversation, despite several e-mails from me to them. The Agency was very keen for me to help promote, but if I do not receive any feed-back from them within the next few weeks, I may have to consider removing Lakshmi Camila from Fileybelle, as it would be un-fair on Aspiring Models currently involved for me to promote someone not actively networking with us. In addition with no feed-back from Hadra in Argentina, I cannot see what direction they are taking for this youngster. If circumstances change then I will be happy to remove this paragraph from my posting here, but for now, I wish all involved at Fileybelle to read my thoughts and reasons on that.
