"Fluorine is an element. It is a gas, never occurring in its free state. In microscopic amounts complexed with other minerals, it is often listed as a trace mineral, a nutrient for human nutrition.

This has nothing to do with fluoride or fluoridation. The fluoride added to 90% of drinking water is hydrofluoric acid which is a compound of fluorine that is a chemical byproduct of aluminum, steel, cement, phosphate, and nuclear weapons manufacturing.

Such fluoride is manmade. In this form, fluoride has no nutrient value whatsoever. It is one of the most caustic of industrial chemicals. Fluoride is the active toxin in rat poisons and cockroach powder.

Hydrofluoric acid is used to refine high octane gasoline, to make fluorocarbons and chlorofluorocarbons for freezers and air conditioners, and to manufacture computer screens, fluorescent light bulbs, semiconductors, plastics, herbicides, -- and toothpaste.

It also has the ability to burn flesh to the bone, destroy eyes, and sear lungs so that victims drown in their own body fluid."

     Have you ever stopped to read the labels on items containing fluoride? Below are real labels found on toothpastes, mouthwashes, and tablets containing fluoride. Note how most of them say WARNING, CAUTION, and DO NOT SWALLOW.  They also treat the item like a dangerous drug and review procedures on how to remove it from your body if needed. My personal favorite is the label on the MULVIDREN-F and all of the diseases and risks involved with taking the drug.

• The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), as of April 1997, require poison warning labels on fluoridated toothpaste. The following are a few examples.

1. "Do not swallow. Use only a pea-sized amount for children under six. To prevent swallowing, children under six years of age should be supervised in the use of toothpaste.
2. "Do not swallow. Children under 6 yrs.: To minimize swallowing use a pea-sized amount and supervise brushing until good habits are established. Children under 2 yrs.: Ask a dentist or physician. WARNINGS: Keep out of the reach of children under 6 years of age. If you accidentally swallow more than used for brushing, seek professional help or contact a poison control center immediately."
3. WARNING: AS WITH ALL FLUORIDE TOOTHPASTES, KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN UNDER 6 YEARS OF AGE. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY SWALLOW MORE THAN USED FOR BRUSHING, SEEK PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE OR CONTACT A POSION CONTROL CENTER IMMEDIATELY.

      ACTIVE INGREDIENT: SODIUM FLUORIDE (0.14% wt/vol of fluoride ion)

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Patients living in area where the drinking water is fluoridated at a concentration of greater than 0.7 ppm and those persons with a known sensitivity to fluoride should not take MULVIDREN-F.

WARNINGS

Dental fluorosis (mottling) may result from exceeding the recommended dose (see Dosage and Administration).

PRECAUTIONS

When prescribing MULVIDREN-F, the physician should make sure the child is not receiving significant amounts of fluoride from other sources (ie, medications, drinking water)(see Dosage and Administration)

ADVERSE REACTIONS

In hypersensitive individuals, fluorides occasionally cause skin eruptions such as atopic dermatitis, eczema or urticaria. Gastric distress, headache and weakness have also been reported. These hypersensitivity reactions usually disappear promptly after discontinuation of the fluoride. In rare cases, a delay in the eruption of teeth has been reported.

FIRST AID: Call physician. Induce vomiting immediately. Give a tablespoon of soap, baking soda or salt in a glass of warm water and repeat until vomit is clear. Precede by lime water or 1% calcium chloride solution if immediately available. Give strong tea, or coffee, or aromic spirts of ammonia.
