Coloured Field Service Caps

Here are just some of the coloured field service caps we are able to offer for cavalry / armoured units.  Many other regimental caps available by request.

Scarlet field service cap with yellow piping, as worn by most hussar regiments, including 3rd King's Own Hussars, 7th Queen's Own Hussars, 10th Royal Hussars, 12th Royal Lancers, 15th/19th King's Royal Hussars, and numerous yeomanry regiments.  Supplied with brass GS buttons.

The 11th Hussars were known from Victorian times as the 'Cherrypickers', owing to their cherry-coloured trousers.  The coloured field service cap for this regiment of the standard hussars pattern, with yellow piping round the sides and crown, but is a dull 'cherry red' instead of scarlet.

This London regiment was an Officers' Training Unit before the outbreak of the Second World War, and then converted to an armoured car regiment.  It was the only armoured car regiment to land in Normandy on D-Day.  The regiment's coloured field service cap is dark blue with an olive green peak and crown, with olive green piping to the sides, and can be supplied in either wool or felt.
